@spectrumflash Aight.
-
@spectrumflash No problemo.

Got word back on the !EqDawn server load -- they're not yet sure what's causing it, but they've had other reports and are looking into it. If all else fails, we can switch to a different machine from the same hosts. @spectrumflash

@spectrumflash !vancouverbronies Yeah, it started out as Vancouver only, but there are Victoria Bronies too and some in the interior. Maybe BC is a better bet.
-
@spectrumflash !vancouverbronies Oh wow! Let's get a Vancouver Bronies forum up and running on a critter.net domain then!
-
@spectrumflash Shall do.
-
@spectrumflash Well, from what I can see at the immediate moment, nothing for us at all. According to top, we're using all of 0% of CPU. free -m says we're doing fine on memory, too.... And we're only at 70% of our HDD quota. Of course, this was 2 hours ago, it's quite possible things have changed between the problem and my investigating the matter.
-
@spectrumflash EquestriaDawn? What is das, I have become interested.
-
@spectrumflash !vancouverbronies Acquaintancing is an easy way to get connected with the DHX folks. Meet them multiple times and you will eventually gain them as acquaintances.
-
@spectrumflash !vancouverbronies Nice!

!vancouverbronies Bowling for 2 days in a row feels very different. I know @spectrumflash was there on Friday.

@spectrumflash There's a dinner at 6pm at Brentwood before that. You can join me there too.
-
@spectrumflash Well that's fanon, not canon. I never apply fanon to canon unless it is supported by details in canon in which I then write it off as "possible, but not true"
-
@spectrumflash Well Pipsqueak was just the prominant character that the producers used to channel emotions and such through in that episode. I don't believe we ever really see them as more than slight acquaintances.
-
@spectrumflash Wait, what? Are you implying what I think you're implying?
-
@spectrumflash Oh, is that what that thing is? My lunchtime runs at work usually take me past that.
-
!bcbronies @spectrumflash Yeah, the torch/cauldron was just an example. What cemented it as being the west building was actually that on the schedule's map it says "Room 109 is located on ground level", and on the centre's website's map, there is indeed a room 109 on ground floor of the west building. I think the raindrop could be our best bet. If it's too rainy, we'll try to find somewhere nearby or just all cram into the food court. I'll add some details to the doc later today. If it works, those of us coming Sunday can probably meet at the same time/place then, too.
-
@spectrumflash !bcbronies They've got parking at the east one, but the con's at the west one (which was surprisingly hard to determine for sure, but then the photos seem to focus on that building), the one with big open areas next to it where we could meet. It's a convention morning, food court's gonna be packed. Going and warming up and getting breakfast/coffee is a good plan, but the main meetup spot should be somewhere open and outdoors and as close to the centre as possible (pref. to the side of it). That would be the easiest for newcomers to the area to spot. A fairly visible landmark would be good, something like the Olympic Torch or another sculpture or something.
-
@spectrumflash !bcbronies I think we only need 720p.
-
@spectrumflash 100 MB. I'm debating between just adding 50 MB for $1 or going for an extra 100 MB storage and 5 more MB of RAM for $3. But the $3 one comes with a website, which we already have, though I could redirect it to the .com... Anyway, we currently have a 100 MB quota. And 20 MB RAM.
-
@spectrumflash And now we're at 63% of our storage.
-
@spectrumflash Oh, snap. Yeah, okay then - I just checked the web tool, said we're at 79% use. I'm going to tune down the amount and rate of backups, especially since we really haven't needed them.
-
@spectrumflash No kidding? Uh... There's like a 10 GB limit, I think, but I'm inclined to doubt we'd have hit that. 0.0 I'll have to take a look when I get home. Is it critical?

@spectrumflash !vancouverbronies It's the reality of the situation, unfortunately.
