@spots I'm a "geek"...There's a fundamental difference.
-
@spots I have little else I'd like to say other than sharing my experiences (re: Batman '89) with others.

@spots *shrug*...I like deep things that communicate clear and accurate or concise ideas. MLP G4 is one of those things. I can even communicate my own feelings through its established depth to the point that I've shifted my artwork to be almost purely pony-related. A lot of artists would agree with me.

@spots The underlying concept is "sell toys to children", yes. However, the content of the show MLP:FiM is univerally appealing because it doesn't treat people like idiots. The character development is realistic from a personality standpoint, and many of the scripts are so well-written that you can't deny how awesome they are.

@spots This is something you don't understand: It's a show for EVERYONE. It wasn't marketed to "little girls who are 12 years old"....Faust was smarter than that. That's why we're all here, under the same umbrella.
-
@spots re: Big Lebowski references.
-
@spots No, no, he's right. It was intended for 6 year olds AND THEIR PARENTS.
-
@spots That wasn't Lauren Faust's intent, though. That isn't the intent of anything "Friendship is Magic" since the G4 started.
-
@spots see you soon <3
