#gentoo - so far I have: set dispane's columns widths, defined a new file type ('log') and a style for it, defined 'xfc' as a GIMP image file, defined image_edit to open GIMP, and set image_view to open with Ristretto. There are still things I don't quite see how to use in configuration, but mostly it's a matter of playing around. For instance I discovered that for image_view I could not only 'add a row' but drag the new row up so it becomes the first. Contextual help would be nice, but most things are easily discoverable if you just poke around.

The #gentoo prefix installer is talking to me in a conversational tone, and has an ASCII art header. I think we'll get along just fine.

@arnebab I generally use #DuckDuckGo. I wish I could figure out how to install #YaCy on #Gentoo, though. Can't get it working :/
