@thesidekick Street performers are consistently pretty great. (Disclaimer: I don't play any instruments and know nothing about magic tricks, perhaps I'm just easily impressed). Fun story- a couple days ago at the ATM it literally started launching my money out- like shooting it out 5 feet from the machine and I was scrambling to pick up all the 20s as they came out. Thankfully I just got a bunch of confused stares

@thesidekick That is pretty convenient, and I could see myself getting a desktop in the future if I have the money for one. Though for the time being I'm enjoying the accessibility and portability of my laptop.

@thesidekick It was a requirement for my course so I made do, but I've actually been really liking it. It's a really well optimized machine and I feel really comfortable using it. It's not great for games with lots of hi-res textures and effects because it only has integrated graphics, but its RAM and processing power are both fairly solid for a computer in its range.

@thesidekick haha, strangely enough I've never been to the statue of liberty before. Totally understand though, and there are definitely some places I see tourists where I'm thinking "I really hope this isn't where you form your impression of this city D:". I'm really into the museums and stuff though. Fun fact: there's a new pop-up "museum" called the "Museum of Feelings" that's actually a giant advertisement for Glade air fresheners. So terrifying. (Some of my art-loving peers found out the hard way.) Only in NYC

@thesidekick I currently use my Macbook most of the time, but it's my school computer first so I mostly use it for notes and when I have to work in DAWs like Pro Tools for an assignment. My internet at home is alright but this laptop has been great for me since I got it, @yuledelerty helped me find it.

@thesidekick Currently at the house I just have a PS3 and a Wii set up, though my brother will be bringing his Wii U with him when he comes home for the holidays.

@thesidekick I always liked Princess Toadstool, back before she was Peach. She could fly in SMB 2, she was well-balanced in Mario Kart, she looked really cute in that dress....
