  1. !yorkshirebronies I've had a brief look at Sheffield Uni's room booking prices, looks to be some reasonable options (About £100 for 4 hours, or 3 hours in a slightly smaller but nicer furnished room), but the main issue I'm seeing is that during term time the bulk of the facilities are only available after 6pm due to lectures. At some point I'll make it down to the uni to try and talk this all out with someone on the staff, find out what's available when, but it looks like it's hypothetically possible to pull off if we can split the fee enough ways.

  2. !yorkshirebronies @elscire I just don't know what went wrong! Well, I'm...online now? ; ) And apparently I missed you by 8 minutes.

  3. !yorkshirebronies @undeadtaz ASDA and Morrisons has been pretty successful for us; the big ones, at least. Got like 5 sets of everything we needed (house full of bronies xD) between two ASDA superstores and one of whatever Morrisons calls their biggest shops. Are you just not finding them in stock at all, or not finding particular ponies?

  4. !yorkshirebronies @mattus701 @klayking Hmm, I was kinda expecting something like that, they have to cover their flanks, after all. If we wanted to get a showing going, university facilities might be a better shot. The impression I've had (at least from Sheffield university) is that they've got more of a 'plausible deniability' policy: they don't want to know what you're doing with the auditorium, and it's on you if you get into trouble ; ) Aside from an actual auditorium, booking a lecture theatre to get access to the projectors in there would be a good alternate solution. That said, I think UoS only books out to societies, but it might be that they book out to any student with the cash for the fee. No idea what other uni's policies might be.

  5. @elscire Next weekend currently looks fine. Bradford was a one-time thing, was at a fighting game tournament, so that's no problem : )

  6. @elscire Oh, cool. Well, I'm heading to Bradford on the Saturday, but if you're around on Sunday we can work something out ^ ^

  7. !yorkshirebronies Aaaargh, I seriously can't believe I got the day wrong -_- I thought it was tomorrow, kicking myself so hard. Hope everyone who *did* make it had a great day; I'll make it to whenever the next meet is, come hay or high water : )

  8. !yorkshirebronies @klayking Haha, I suppose that might work xD And I'll bear the colours in mind. Maybe I'll dig out some line art or something...

  9. !yorkshirebronies It would be awesome to watch the new episode, but I can't think how we'd manage it. I know I successfully streamed May the Best Pet Win at a Leeds Cafe Nero when I was over there in November, but I doubt they'd appreciate us watching with the sound on, and I've never heard of a laptop with 10+ headphone jacks ; ) Oh, and I'll be buying at least one t-shirt.

  10. !yorkshirebronies 28th works for me, and at least one other of the Sheffield bunch. I'll ask around and see who else is interested/available. Only been to Leeds a couple of times so can't really comment on things to do... : )

  11. !yorkshirebronies Hi everpony... funny story, just last night I was thinking how many bronies I know in Sheffield and how we should try and get a meet going for Yorkshire. And then this morning, what meetup group does EQD feature...? Serendipitous to the maximum.
