Tampa, FL, USA
Just a mid-twenties chick who ran across MLP randomly on Fark one day and thought, "Hm, I should give this a try." Been hooked ever since.
Oh, and Fluttershy is my muse. n.n;

@princessgryph Omigosh, that's you?! I've been admiring your work for a while now, it seems. It's so cool to see that you're so close.
-
@princessgryph I'd offer, but I'm in Tampa. Are you on Facebook? There's an event page and I think some of the confirmed guests are coming in from that area. Maybe you could ask one of them for a ride. https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=128122023946906
-
!centralflbronies With just a week and a half away, I was just wondering how many of you are planning on coming to the picnic party at Hillsborough River State Park on Saturday Sep. 3rd. :3
-
@princessgryph Thanks!
-
@princessgryph All TRUs in Tampa are too far from where I live. Plus, I'm trying to get a job related to my degree while I finish my thesis, sooo, yeah. I may be able to snag a part-time field assistant job, soon, though.
-
@princessgryph Awesome! Once I get some money (i.e. a job) I may just take you up on the offer. I've got a few ponies in mind I wouldn't mind getting commissioned.
-
@tenure *does best Fluttershy impression she can manage* Yay!
-
@wollffey And I'm squeeing on the inside... X3
-
Well, I suppose since it's posted in the ponychan thread... I landed the role of Octavia in the dramatic reading of The Vinyl Scratch Tapes. http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/06/story-vinyl-scratch-tapes.html :3
-
@dashidash I shoulda let you take the umbrella. I missed all the rain. X3;;
-
@tenure I did that. No response yet, unless you think I should message each person separately.
-
@tenure Sure can about the charcoal, but I can't make the people say anything. Something about leading a horse to water and drinking...
-
@tenure 14 confirmed so far on Facebook with another 11 "maybe"s and 3 undecideds. Plus whoever might be coming but isn't on fb, an unknown number, I hope we have enough food. I mentioned it as a potluck on the event page but no one's signed up for bringing anything yet. o_o;;

@kingcarcinopony X3
-
@kingcarcinopony Without knowing your personal life, I can't say much in regards to your parents, but I can say to stay optimistic that life will get better. In difficult times, hope really is the only thing that can keep you going.
-
@kingcarcinopony No, it's not.
-
@kingcarcinopony @tenure is 32, and I'm sure he's not the only brony in his 30s. Heck, in 3 and a half years, if the fandom still exists, and I'm still a part of it, *I'll* be here in my 30s. XD
-
@kingcarcinopony And in 3 years you'll say that your current self doesn't know anything. I'm not personally saying you don't know anything, but time gives perspective on one's own actions. If it didn't you'd be stuck in perpetual adolescence, and you'll reach the age of 50 not understanding why the world isn't going the way you want it to. It's called stunted emotional growth. But if you are willing to learn from your mistakes, then you will be able to avoid this fate. (Alright, no more advice. I'm sure the bronies older than I are irritated that I'm giving "worldly wisdom".) ;)
-
@kingcarcinopony Well, from my perspective, I feel like I have enough life experience to kinda know how the world works. But in 10 years, I'll look back on myself and go, Wow, was I wrong! The reason I know this? Because at 16 (10 years ago) I though I knew how the world worked based on all my experiences. Now I look back and say, good god! I didn't know anything! XD
-
@colfax I bet. Your dad sounds like a bad-bananas. :D
-
@kingcarcinopony If you think you're ready for real life, then great! But just don't be so jaded. You're too young for that. :3 (Imagining my 35 y.o. brother seeing this and making some remark about how little wisdom I actually have. XD)
-
@kingcarcinopony Be patient. I hated school when I was there but I'm starting to think it wasn't so bad having people tell you what needed to be done all the time. Responsibility is a grapes.
-
@colfax Good advice. That goes along with Teddy Roosevelt's "speak softy and carry a big stick" saying.
-
@kingcarcinopony I'm usually asleep, since I want to maintain a regular schedule, should I land a job in the corporate sector (which I will hear confirmation of within the next couple of days).
-
@colfax LOL!
-
@kingcarcinopony Last night must seem like such a long time ago to someone still wet behind the ears. ;3
-
@silversmoulder154 All you chidlins need to respect ya elders, ya hear? (as my non-existent southern nanny would say)
-
@tenure Oh lord, I hope my infectious personality didn't cause this. Get better, Dude! <3
-
@kingcarcinopony Reading about people arguing over age at 15 to 18 just makes me feel old. :P
