@tenure Hmm, I'm familiar with some of those. Would you think a park where you can swim would be good? Also, I'll need to look into which parks have the lowest admission (preferably none). In the meantime, how about a day and time. Saturday September 3rd at 11:00 am?

@tenure OMG YES! I'd say, either have it be potluck or byob(food?). If it's a potluck, though, we'd need to make sure everyone listed what they were bringing. If it's byo... then not a problem. In fact, I'm leaning towards the second, but I'd still try to bring something to share with everyone, like cookies or cupcakes or whatever. As far as parks go, I'd say one that has covered pavilions since the weather may not cooperate (darn you late summer Tampa weather!!)

@tenure I was just thinking that. What about Labor Day weekend? That's in a month, plenty of time to get word out, especially to anyone who doesn't check this site often. As far as place, I don't know... someplace that doesn't mind a group of geeks with an affinity for ponies....

@tenure I was just thinking that if we plan it far enough in the future, then people could make plans to join and it won't just be 3 or 4 people. We could even have EqD mention it in the Nightly Roundup. (Plus, I think I may be dragged into other plans this weekend and maybe even next, I don't yet know).

@tenure !centralflbronies Well, they all work during the week and I'm going for an interview tomorrow (o.o;;) so I don't know about week days. However, we almost all have the weekends off, so that's the only criteria I can think of. Day or night works.

!centralflbronies @tenure That depends on the day and the location. It would be nice to meet some of y'all. And I'm sure I could drag my bf and 1 or 2 more people with me who also consider themselves Bronies but aren't part of the RainbowDash network.
