  8. @yuri How you treat others also depends on how you treat yourself. I have to eat well and sleep enough or else I can't do my job well and my co-workers have to make up for it. I know, it's happened before.

  9. @yuri ah, but doesn't the breaking of pre established boundries become a requirement of progress uppon reaching a certain state of discovery?

  10. @yuri I don't do what I consider wrong in myself nor others. There are things that for me are context sensitive, like ending a life, but that's another thing xD

  11. @yuri Sooner or later by one or other reason I'll know what it's like, but for now, it's not my wish to use any kind or drug xD A way to gain control over myself is setting strict honor and principles, and a code of behavior. Drugs and alcohol are things I don't allow myself to do.

  13. @nerthos @yuri There's where most ponies get caught. Yes, life in our world is full of trials, some of which mean that we loose loved ones, (even if only, in my belief, temporarily). Feeling the pain of loss is necessary. Without it we'd become numb to joy as well, and that is not the same thing as self control or true power over self. I have born witness to the truth that there is a higher power which guarantees our happiness as long as it is happiness we seek. Through that power, and not our own, though the world as we know it may someday fall to pieces, we and those we hold dear can have security and peace. We should definitely stand up for what we believe in in politics and social situations, but, as you know, there are unavoidable limitations to our influence. What's more, I feel it is impossible to control anything or anypony beyond our own individual selves. I'd love to continue this convo, but my wife wants me... ^//^

  18. @yuri No problem at all, I have both coffee and tea, as well as mate cocido, that i like more than the other two. You are too a very interesting person. You should talk to @cthulhufhtang whenever she logs, even if she only does from time to time to drop some silly lines, you two will like each other I think.

  19. @yuri I actually read a story that had that same logic and thus it caused all sorts of issues. That aside, I am in agreement. Now to actually read your comment.... Kidding. >.>

  20. @yuri @nerthos I think the only power worth having comes not from seeking power over others but one's self.

  23. @yuri Yes, I understand that. I know that I will cease to want much of the stuff I used to like, but, still, I'm greedy when it comes to knowledge and power, to the point of wanting them even if they mean a hollow existance.

  24. @yuri That reminds me of some old sayings I heard once. You are wise my student.

  25. @yuri I don't posess yet the knowledge to be able to answer that.

Sunday, 26-Feb-12 05:36:25 UTC from web
  26. @yuri No, I think, since it's just another individual. Like installing two instances of a program on the same computer, the worst deleting one could do to the other would be damaging it's link with the registry.

Sunday, 26-Feb-12 05:35:58 UTC from web
  27. @yuri Exactly. More than I could use in all eternity. And through it, also knowledge.

  28. @yuri I do not understand planes enough to answer that.

Sunday, 26-Feb-12 05:31:11 UTC from web
  29. @yuri It would only limit how much of it can be used by the "leech" at the same time. But there's a threshold of "useful power", like, if you have a gun to defend yourself from, let's say, bears. Piercing through bone and fur is enough, you don't need uranium bullets able to vaporize steel.

  30. @yuri If that being were on another plane? I think not, but it could be.
