He barges into the front door, chiming, "GUESS WHO JUST GOT PARTNER~?" before he opens his eyes in SHOCK as he sees Starshine canoodling with his beloved wife, inserting pieces of wheat bread into her slick, hungry mouths. Loak waited until the toast was almost ready before making his move... The toast pops into the air. THEN, WITHOUT WARNING, Loak lunges for the toast as Starshine barely reaches for it. @zarkanorf C'mon. I thought you were smarter than this! It isn't a democracy. Complainants raised awareness of a potential issue, which legal determined had merit, then acted upon. Unless you're seriously advocating that we should actively silence people with dissenting opinions, in which case that's just terrifying.

@zarkanorf This isn't about praise and hate, people were seriously offended by Derpy, and one needs to listen to all the opinions. And praise isn't exactly the right word for it, we've torn the community apart, their are physical separations among us now, that is not an effect of praise. In the end that feeling of offense becomes way more important than our's of a very mixed variety. If one can fix the offensive part while only incurring a slight sadness in others then that is the obvious choice. Hasbro/Studio B did what they needed to and we need to just get over it and accept it, not say "if we'd only had a few more.....," what's done is done, it's time for this to end.

@zarkanorf Yes, but Hasbro only knows what they do about the fandom from the direct feedback of the fandom, and the only feedback (or at least a large portion of it) is negative.

@zarkanorf That's fair. I just don't think it's a huge deal. I didn't complain, I just sat back because I was sort of ashamed to be part of a bunch of people complaining about a character with < 30 seconds of airtime.
