Also, while I'm thinking about it, has any character actually died during a Zelda game? Sure there are ghosts who have died prior, and the Uncle in ALttP looks dead but isn't, but I can't think of anyone dying during game events other than that one soldier in OoT's Castle Town alley.

@thelastgherkin I reached 31 days. I was extremely bored at that point and reversed the game and tried to kill as many horses as fast as I can. Three poop heaps were so far the max in my test. When the horse hatches it was dead before it can poop again.
