The orange unicorn finally woke up this morning. His name is Matt. He won't tell me where he's from. Actually, he won't say much to me besides vulgarities and threats of violence. I can only wonder what Discord did to him in there that traumatized him so much. Slowly, I begin to realize what my new task is. He has no grasp on the magic of friendship. He treats his two friends, the pegasus Jonathan and earth pony Sebastian, like garbage. Somehow, I get the feeling the task is going to fall on me to teach him what friendship really means. I won't let him - or you - down.

So after waiting many years for a certain portable to bring enough meal at a McDonalds price I finally own a PSP! Has some alright side loaded pony themes (though the best looking is if I modded said new device). @coltz Yeah, you can definitely tell the background was rushed but the actual character looks amazing. The foreshortening is really well done, and I love the really excited expression you gave him. His costume design looks good in a dynamic position like this too. Good job man, I can tell just from looking at it that you had fun drawing it.

@coltz Yeah, I didn't criticize the background because as you mentioned you didn't put too much time into it. But the actual characters and the animal look really good, it's a really dynamic and entertaining picture.

@scribus What's actually interesting about FFVI is that holistically it doesn't have a single main protagonist, and Terra is only really the center of the narrative for the first half while the second half devotes more focus to Celes.

@northernnarwhal There's a lot that's interesting about FFVI, but yeah, the strength of pretty much every character but Umaro is high up on the list. :p

@scribus It's definitely my favourite Final Fantasy game, if solely because I felt it has the strongest writing and characters the series has seen. Not that I dislike the overt worldbuilding narratives of later games, but I felt the more non-linear and character driven narrative of FFVI to be all the more compelling.
