@princesstwilight The problem with giving a synopsis of the story being that from this description it seems far more convoluted than the perfect story you said it was earlier. Which is why I'd rather have a look at it and see for myself than just go by one opinion. Didn't mean that in a mean way.

@princesstwilight If you're uncomfortable sharing it then I understand, (Even moreso since posting would be against rules without a tag at the least) but just for future reference that doesn't bother me. Well, as long as it's more like story with mature things in it and not "I described a rule 34 picture without any reasoning for it whatsoever."

@ceruleanspark Off to the orphanage with them, the other ones were already born a bit before so he's more emotionally attached to them. He also likes their mothers more. He practically never even saw the ponies that Mrs. Cake gave birth to so they're not really important to him. He's just cold hearted like that.

@redenchilada For the idea to work though, it'd need to be more of a "I want this whole hiking thing to be done properly and by the book, I will NOT leave...even if I miss my f-friends *sniff*" that, or it'd need to be a realization that talking to her friends is probably the better idea instead of sitting here in the wilderness being stubborn trying to figure it out herself using the given beginning in that link. Admittedly though, the whole dream thing seems a bit forced to me.

@pumpkinhill And I think that's my main problem. The dream is the whole basis of the story, and yet I can't incorporate it properly. I'm probably better off redoing the whole thing, honestly.

I opened Notepad, stared at the text document for five minutes, and sighed. I remembered why I never finished writing this fanfic; how was I supposed to turn "solo hiking up to the mountains" into a story about how your true friends are the ones who care about you even when you're not around?

I'm having an idea for a fanfiction about a colt who nearly drowns as a child and is rescued by Sea Ponies. However, nobody takes him seriously when he tells them who saved him, so he devotes the rest of his life to trying to prove the existance of sea ponies.

@thelastgherkin If you pay attention to the original pokemon series, the pokeballs actually hit the pokemon before capturing them. This is changed in later series. This is probably because caterpies and other small pokemon were dying from 100mph throws of the metal sphere at their face.

@ceruleanspark My group of friends bought all this gag gift stuff for my friends birthday which consisted of Hannah Montana and Dora the Explorer stuff we found in the toy section and I don't think they questioned our friend when he came up with this Hannah Montana bag filled with all the stuff in it. Perhaps our store attendant's just care too little?

@ceruleanspark I dunno, for some reason the world of FO:NV just wasn't explorable to me for some reason. I'm sure it actually is, but I just couldn't get myself to walk anywhere and explore unless I was told to do so for a quest. The story itself didn't draw me in too much either. To each his own though.

@fallinwinter Actually, that's exactly what I did on my replay. I didn't do any the quests. (I in fact, fatally botched the starting quest) and just wandered around the wasteland looking at things, and found I had a really fun time.

@ceruleanspark I'm honestly not even sure where my game is anymore. It's been a while. Actually, since playing Persona 3 & 4 I've barely even touched my Xbox. I've got a few games left from Christmas, but I've played for maybe 6 hours cumulatively.
