Saw a post on Tumblr about how Hank Hill was transphobic. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think the idea that a 40 year old straight white man in suburban Texas circa 1997 was transphobic should diminish your enjoyment of the show.

Normally I scoff at the action of diplomats being expelled from their country of service but this last one applees me off. A personal acquaintance of mine was sent off from a country he loves, even if his government doesn’t.

@awl I just looked up at a German car-dealing website, on which people can offer their car for sale, and found out that about 37% of all cars there are automatic. I thought this number would be lower.

@tiff there was a plethora of examples before that one, but yes that’s a rather shiny one. The “no such thing as bad publicity” addage rings true even if the publiicity is in the extreme.
