I remember the Sm4sh invitational at whatever event that was at, they brought some "well-known commentator" to commentate and it was really cringey because he knew basically nothing about Smash outside of Melee.

I did try to get somewhat gud at melee back in the day. Falco was my fave. I had no friends to play with though and just played against lvl9s which were usually Bowser. It was bound to get boring.

@bowbow Yeah, it's an incredibly fast game with its own internal language of gameplay. It moves like no other and it's amazing to watch people who are really good at it.

@bowbow for a dirty casul like myself smash in general isn't that interesting to watch, but melee probably less so because everythings moving so fast I can't tell whats going on most of the time

@ellistia Awww, that's my favourite one from NV! It's a great mix of clever humour and moral undercurrents framed in an engaging sci-fi type narrative, it's equal parts absurd and introspective and really great.

@northernnarwhal My mum will probably try to, but we'll just have to see. I'm just gonna have to take these stronger painkillers more frequently (probably daily), which as of right now seem to be helping.

@mrmattimation Do you know how soon you'll be able to go in to get it removed? That pain sounds awful. Also, it hasn't affected your ability to eat too much, has it? That would be distressing to hear.

@northernnarwhal Not sure, I'll get my mum to phone them tomorrow and find out. Eating hasn't really been a problem, I've just been trying to avoid chewing on that side of my mouth.

One of the main reasons for the pain was a wisdom tooth coming through, so I'd assume that progressing while the mankey old tooth is in the way is why it's getting worse.

The most annoying part is that I was supposed to get it done at an appointment a week ago. I had a numbing injection in each side of my mouth, because I need to have a filling on the other side of my mouth as well, but since I hadn't eaten anything that day, I had a terrible reaction and nearly passed out from them (plus they barely even numbed me for some reason), so the dentist couldn't do the treatment.

@northernnarwhal The occurrences of the pain have been pretty weird. The tooth in question got a bit chipped off of it a few months ago while I was just grinding my teeth. But the pain first started about a month ago, and while it wasn't as bad as it is now, it was bad enough to go to the dentist. Since that appointment, where they told me it had to be taken out, I'd had basically no more pain, so it wasn't really a big deal when they couldn't take it out last week. But then a couple of nights ago, I just had a sudden sharp pain again out of no where, and it's been on and off since then, tonight being the worst it's been.

Managed to play a bit of FO4 but my tooth pain got pretty bad and I couldn't focus so I had to stop, then the pain got even worse and I legit had to just lay on my bed a cry for a bit

@northernnarwhal thank you! I liked how the face came out a lot but it was annoying that I struggled so much with the arms/hands, and had to crop out the hands because I couldn't get them to look not-terrible.

@ellistia I can understand that struggle, hands together are always tough to pose and hands in general always give me the most grievance because of their relative complexity to other anatomical structures I can usually "cheat" on.
