Three years ago today, Edward Duncan Ernest Gould passed away following a six-year battle with cancer. Although I never knew him personally, I think I would have liked to. I like to think that, were he here today, he'd genuinely enjoy what I release here today. But he's not here, and unfortunately you can't be noticed by a dead senpai. The best I can do is keep doing what I do and hope that maybe I'm doing him some sort of justice by including his name in the dedication. SO. Today I learned that Daylight Savings Time was changed from starting in April to starting in March back in 2007, which explains why my Windows 98 computer wasn't updating with DST.

And with the fact the mouse uses different amounts of amperage at different times, a simple resistor will not work to lower the voltage properly. Ohm's law, Voltage equals current times resistance, shows that only having a resistor to drop the voltage in a constantly changing current will make the voltage constantly change. Also, 9 volts down to 1.5 is a lot of wasted power from heat.
