I need to make another ask blog post soon and figure out why my follower count is constantly decreasing. It's bugging me more than it should. I'd like to compare this to a highscore in an arcade game where you have a highscore in the list and the score is smaller every time you look at it. Kinda spooky and mysterious.

@ceruleanspark Ah, so magic weapons are more viable for builds now? Since previously they generally weren't used since split damage didn't work well in a scaling system that rewarded min/max-ing.

@northernnarwhal You can socket any weapon with gems which allow you to actively alter the scaling on it, and the scaling on weapons improves as you level them now.

@ceruleanspark That makes way more sense than simply splitting the scaling when enchanting weapons. I'm glad to see they're addressing stuff like that.

Actually, there are hardly any games that really come close to Dark Souls for me, it's one of my favourite games ever.
