@tiffany That's fair. Jessica Jones is more of My Kind Of Show too so I can relate to that. I guess I was just trying to highlight my issue with the "x is good, but it's no y" train of thought, though I'm sure you're already aware of this.

@tiffany Despite being part of the same universe, the shows have really different priorities so I dunno if comparing them is really fair. Daredevil's strengths are more in its stylish composition and choreography, Jessica Jones works more on the foundations of its character writing and atmosphere.

@mrmattimation Living an ostensibly "better" life doesn't equate with nor is proportional to the degree of happiness someone experiences. Depression, anxiety, and stress can affect anyone.

@mushi I was really loving the series early in, but its last few episodes have really soured my opinion of it as of late. Which is a shame too, because I was hoping for once I could get behind the hype of the big seasonal (semi) crossover hit.

I know Matt's referring to accessibility and rating, but I find it humorous that Zootopia is a more adult animated film than most adult animated films.

I don't see a point in trying to encourage producers to make more adult animation movies. The peak of adult animation has already been achieved in that gif where an explosion happens that consists completely of bouncy phalluses. Anything else is and will be below that.
