Sea Hitler's water apocalypse
For the cat is cryptic, and close to strange things which men cannot see. He is the soul of antique Aegyptus, and bearer of tales from forgotten cities in Meroe and Ophir. He is the kin of the jungle’s lords, and heir to the secrets of hoary and sinister Africa. The Sphinx is his cousin, and he speaks her language; but he is more ancient than the Sphinx, and remembers that which she hath forgotten.

@mrmattimation Good ol' American Matt McBurger.
-
@mrmattimation Nothing is more American than killing foreign civilians remotely though
-
-
I remember in 2015 two out of three presidential candidates here had made visits to USA and the third had sent a delegation.

@maiyannah That I did mention early, and not only in USA.
-
@tiffany Is there any real reason to make them illegal besides "there's idiots" though?
-
@maiyannah The same thing I ask myself every night, pinky.
-
@maiyannah That makes a bit more sense. I understand now as matt explained that setting up deals before being in office is illegal there, but the whole treason thing was a bit too much to me.
-
@mrmattimation That I do agree is bad.
-
@mrmattimation Well, I guess that makes sense. Kinda weird but oh well.
-
@somercet And I agree in the case of an actual enemy, but not in the case of countries you're at peace with. It's more important to be in good terms with those that can Fluffle Puff you up than with the rest.
-
I'm not even taking sides, to the extent of my knowledge it's only treason if you're selling out secrets, not if you're making deals while campaigning.
-
I mean, if you're in open war or something, yeah, that's treason, but I didn't think it extended at all to countries that were at peace as long as no one's sharing classified information.

@mrmattimation Don't basically all politicians do this? AFAIK that's common practice, chatting up other countries while in campaign.
