@pandabear I know they were actually really popular at the high school I went to but that's part of the fact that they do have a really strong local following here since they're from here. I should mention that neither you nor your friend are "right" here, there's nothing really "right" or "wrong" with visceral engagement with a piece of art such as music. Now, some people might be more apt at explaining why they like or dislike a certain piece more than others but that doesn't validate their opinion at all, it just makes it well articulated and (usually through association) more informed. Constructively having a conversation regarding your engagement with a piece of art of an artist has the capacity to expand your critical frame of reference when evaluating said art or artist, but weaponizing your opinion to convince others they're experience was "wrong" doesn't really accomplish much of anything.

This Apzeka letter is known as xet in Maycan; it represents either h or x, the latter being like a hard h. This letter shares both of these sounds as it's a straight borrow from Hebrew and Maycan doesn't have the same differentiation in uvular sounds. The word I picked to write is 'hayet' which is of course a borrowed Maycanisation of a Semitic word for 'life'. http://rainbowdash.net/url/824198

@northernnarwhal Julius Caesar and Romeo and Juliet are all required reading in the US, and many read Macbeth as part of school as well.

@polarbear Ah, I'm not from the US so the requisite reading is a little different yet sort of similar here. I went through Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, The Tempest, and Hamlet for high school, but I've read many other Shakespearean works in my own time (my favourite overall might be King Lear, though Othello is also an incredible read).

@polarbear I also certainly hope you don't think I'm coming off as pompous, as I've been called that before and would hate to give off that impression. I just enjoy a fun reference to an artistic work of any medium as much as the next person here!

@mrmattimation Go see it ASAP. IT will make you feel like you felt watching the first film for the first time, no BS. I was actually open mouth goofy grinning during the finale.

@rarity Can confirm, it literally just felt like a 4th movie. The whole movie was executed perfectly, nothing was done to make it seem flashy and the action flowed seamlessly. The ending was awesome.
