So I was going through my old CDs yesterday while waiting for my apartment to get quiet enough to record (which, between them leafblowing the gutters, then powerwashing the sidewalks, then the neighborhood kids coming home, then the neighbors fighting, was 11:30 PM). @adiwan This here: http://www.infiniteneslives.com/nesmaker.php They have a kit with a board, cartridge shell, and the flasher-device-thing, and it's supposed to be basically a one-button procedure with the NESMaker software. I'm sure I'll end up with both devices, anyway. Haha Just trying to decide for today. Probably will end up putting it off until I have a job again...

Very rough social media idea. Twitter, etc are all about being heard, making noise, but where is the site for listening?? I propose, IHearYou.net (or whatever). Anonymous, no comments allowed, you don't know a follow count, you just see reactions, from "I read this and heard you" to "Same." Buttons only show up after X time based on word count so you can't like-bomb. Maybe N free posts, and outside that you need to read to earn more posts? Not even half baked, hell it's little more than an ingredient list, but something about the national discourse has got to change, man!
