@adiwan Yeah, I had bought it for "selfie-ing" I guess, lol. But I've had some success using it for stationary photography (like birds on the bird feeder) where it lets me see much better to begin with and lets me be sure of the shot before I hit the remote switch.

@adiwan I've got a 7" monitor I've tried dual-ing with. It's a lot nicer than the 3" built-in screen on my camera, but really insufficient for modern desktop use lol

@zeldatra Just about the exact inverse of what I'm trying to do. Want them to believe a near-future cyberpunk urban center, with human/animal hybrids, which eventually develops real-deal Magic and ends up making contact with >3rd dimensional intelligence? Start with something standard, like a murder procedural, so they're not entirely flippin' lost lol

@adiwan My poor bike got so rusted and sun-destroyed over the pandemic, but I also just can't ride the damn thing anywhere. Super jealous, lol

@zeldatra ugh I hate that, because yeah it's usually on "sale" to buy 3 and get one "free," and sure it's convenient to not have to worry about which ones are the old ones, but damnit four expensive things all at one time?? :(

OK so maybe Sims 4 is not total and complete garbage, but I still need extensive cheats and mods just to get the basics handled and they broke too many fundamental things into way too many individual DLCs, and EA is still knee-deep trashwater

So of course the very week of my brother's wedding, all of the good cousins finally catch the 'rona :-/ BUT WAIT there's more!! The best person's kid got it, too :c Pretty much everybody local, afaik, had to back out. But they couldn't reschedule because for everybody else it was too late to cancel travel. Good times all the same. Had tacos. Wore bad shoes for too long. Ate too many brownies. Was not the only one in a kilt.
