I have a bit of a mini-contest with a real prize. If someone can design a Law enforcement badge design w/transparent background, with the words Brony Intelligence Department (B.I.D.) with the motto of your choosing (must be serious and reflect the Brony community values) I will mail the winner a Crystal Rainbow Dash keychain. png is preferred format, along with a SVG if you know how. It should be something that could be worn in real life, and the deadline? How about January 15th 2011? Oh, and, be creative. #contest

!Applejack Hi! I'm here now, so that's another of us - and I'm 33, so you're not the only old mangoess running around in here. For reassurance: we are a specialized fandom, this is a very micro sort of microblog, and individual character fandoms in a (relatively) small fanbase are very small indeed. We're also not promoted on the front page of the network, like the Dashie group. Don't take it as a lack of love - the Brony groups on Facefail, R34 or otherwise, are full of AJ lovers.

@cabal As for the paranoia issue: You yourself are the one who posted suggesting that if SOPA passes, you'd be dragged out of your house by a SWAT team in the dead of night. That IS paranoia. One could also aruge that reading my previous post and coming to the conclusion that it was /intended/ to patronise is also a mark of paranoia. You editorialise every issue you have an opinion on extremely strongly, leading to a chicken little/boy who cried wolf scenario whereby you may well be talking about something incredibly important (IE: Free Speech) but the manner in which you are talking about it puts people off.

@abigpony I don't want to get into the merits of the argument or the authors issues with paypal specifically, but the argument persuaded the other users of this site, which is where the rift between you and the people who were offended by you lies. FWIW, I escalated the posts that got you banned to an administrator for their verdict, rather than getting involved myself at the time, as I considered myself too emotionally involved to make a good decision.
