@zennx Pointless resource gathering game loop. In Minecraft I don't mind the grinding for resources because they have an imminent use for building. In No Man's Sky it is less fun because it all ends up for repairing stuff that constantly breaks.

This is hardly the first time that Steven Universe fans harassed staff members over something stupid. Remember that time that girl tried to kill herself over fan harassment and when a staff member said "cut it out" the fandom got mad at them and started harassing them? What's different now? the Sonic Fandoms are a cesspool of weird sex stuff
the MLP Fandoms are covered in autistic neckbeards
god knows what goes on in the Strawberry Shortcake fandom (and I'm pretty sure it involves chemical weapons)
nobody wanted to talk about it because insults and death threats is par for the course.
Pony Berserker went through the exact same Potato Knishes when he started drawing pony comics (and goddamn they were horrible to look at), but he powered trough it and as his art stopped sucking so did the public reaction, and because he didn't feed the trolls they either died of undernourishment or went elsewhere to be assholes

@thelastgherkin It depends on the situation. If you roll 0 HP for a monster you can take it out of the fight. In this example you could take a bigger bird that attacked the flock and killed them beforehand, or a friendly ranger/hunter could have killed them.

@mushi I played it early today and here's my review:
Menu is clunky but otherwise it's fine
I was exited about this game and as far as I got the fakemons were pretty cool looking (there's a gummy-bear-worm thing, that's neat)
thing was when I got past the 1st town. there was a guy with a Mankey
I fundamentally dislike it when Fakemon games add some of the original pokemon, it detracts from the whole thing, #muhimmersion #ruined
guess I'll go back to waiting for Pokemon Rejuvenation to update -
