Well, joke's on them. I'm already playing it.
It is a pokemon game alright, I can see why everyone is angry, I can also see why I am not that bothered by everything. Oh do not get me wrong, I would not mind to see GameFreak to go down in the ratings like a couple of big names before ( cough, Blizzard/Activision, cough, Bethesda, cough, Zynga ). I just found the 'shadenfreude' of watching CNC Router Fail compilations on YouTube.
Ohkay so maybe the best material are the video's shared amongst friends on a Discord I am on but you have to agree things like http://rainbowdash.net/url/875317 are pretty damn amusing, and sometimes, like just after the 1 minute mark on that specific video, make me smile.

Imagine having made a piece of software in 1995 and just finding out there was a website up until 2015 that sold it as part of a package deal. Aparently there were about 10 packages sold per week ( on average ) in the final 3 years.

@drinkingpony To be honest: I'd be willing to pay for it just for the convenience sake but that limitation of access makes it very hard.

I'm preparing my CNC router for a minor upgrade. I plan to attach a plastic canvas cover for the rails and the threaded rod such that the crap I cut doesn't land on them. It's not an expensive upgrade or a technical improvement but more an improvement for maintenance and convenience. I was cutting some clear plastic (polystyrene) and that stuff was magically drawn to the lubricated rails and threaded rod. I had to wipe everything off and lubricate again.

By now it's a tradition to change the "Han shoots first" scene with each new release. I was once on the purist side of the fandom who wanted the unaltered scene but now I've grown out of that attitude and just watch the drama from the outside with no emotional investment.

@drinkingpony "Haferkleie" is the stuff that remains in the sieve after sieving the ground oat (flour) like the shells and the outer layers of the oat seeds. "Haferflocken" is the oats being shaped into flakes (like corn flakes).
