If I got a dollar for every time I saw a graphical bug in Pokemon Sword, I could get some McDonalds right now.
Which would not be a problem normally, but I have not gotten my first pokemon yet.Thursday, 14-Nov-19 22:34:18 UTC from web -
Pony Seinfeld or Pony Fraisier...
Hmm...
Baby I hear the blues are calling for salad and scrambled eggs.
I clearly have my preference there :)Thursday, 14-Nov-19 22:12:32 UTC from web -
@scribus Well, you are small fry, yes, but you just need a big hit to pop right through the filter and put your name out there.
Even the video game Hatred got through the filter. I mean, not like it should have the way it did, but, it did. -
@adiwan Yeah, I know. But I still want it.
-
@scribus Why is it ohkay if Bruce does it but probably front-door-destroyingly bad if you write the song yourself ?
-
@drinkingpony As far as I know only the server and expensive workstation CPUs have multi-socket motherboards.
-
@adiwan I wanna know if there are double AM4 socket motherboards yet.
-
I want a AMD 3950X CPU

It's Throwback Thursday, or as I like to call it, Thursday http://rainbowdash.net/url/875319

People made a petition to present to the White House trying to stop the sales of Pokemon Sword and Shield ( http://rainbowdash.net/url/875318 )
Well, joke's on them. I'm already playing it.
It is a pokemon game alright, I can see why everyone is angry, I can also see why I am not that bothered by everything. Oh do not get me wrong, I would not mind to see GameFreak to go down in the ratings like a couple of big names before ( cough, Blizzard/Activision, cough, Bethesda, cough, Zynga ). I just know that I am going to be distracted by something shiny in less than 3 days.Thursday, 14-Nov-19 11:46:32 UTC from web -
I just found the 'shadenfreude' of watching CNC Router Fail compilations on YouTube.
Ohkay so maybe the best material are the video's shared amongst friends on a Discord I am on but you have to agree things like http://rainbowdash.net/url/875317 are pretty damn amusing, and sometimes, like just after the 1 minute mark on that specific video, make me smile.Thursday, 14-Nov-19 10:32:03 UTC from web -
Imagine having made a piece of software in 1995 and just finding out there was a website up until 2015 that sold it as part of a package deal. Aparently there were about 10 packages sold per week ( on average ) in the final 3 years.
I do not even really remember what it was. My best guess would be Pythagoras or Lobbing virtualisation in a bad ( but easily programmable in size though a TXT ) square pixel by pixel raster.Thursday, 14-Nov-19 10:18:57 UTC from web -
@mrmattimation If you disregard the clear building outlines behind the forest it kinda looks like a church near here.
Well, except that they got a bell. -
@adiwan It's in the name isn't it ?
Is menthol powder made from menthol ? -
@thelastgherkin MLP version of Seinfeld ? I like this way of thinking.
-
Good news! Pinkie Pie is still the best one http://rainbowdash.net/url/875313
-
@mrmattimation Ey, grats man.
-
@mrmattimation Smuggler ? Wait, what. That took a turn.
"Yeah, ehmm, Mr Ranger Solo sir, Could you please get this package of legal computer components to my friend in California ? Why no, I do not object to haveing it being transported in between the cocaine and MDMA."
P.S. I do not know any Chinese Smuggler names, I do know that the Solo Star Wars Movie was renamed to Ranger Solo in China. -
Oh thank the maker that my ISP fixed my woes right in time for the second sonic trailer.
... Well strangle me with butter and call me the cable guy... It does not suck http://rainbowdash.net/url/875311
I am pleasantly surprised.Tuesday, 12-Nov-19 22:48:59 UTC from web -
@adiwan Oh come on, we both played that flash game back in 1999 or something.
Google do not fail me now...
Well I hope google bumps uglies with a cactus, duckduckgo gave me the thing I wanted in one ( misspelled ) try http://rainbowdash.net/url/875310
Whow... 1356... that is a LOW number for newgrounds, that is for sure. -
@drinkingpony To be honest: I'd be willing to pay for it just for the convenience sake but that limitation of access makes it very hard.
-
I'm preparing my CNC router for a minor upgrade. I plan to attach a plastic canvas cover for the rails and the threaded rod such that the crap I cut doesn't land on them. It's not an expensive upgrade or a technical improvement but more an improvement for maintenance and convenience. I was cutting some clear plastic (polystyrene) and that stuff was magically drawn to the lubricated rails and threaded rod. I had to wipe everything off and lubricate again.

By now it's a tradition to change the "Han shoots first" scene with each new release. I was once on the purist side of the fandom who wanted the unaltered scene but now I've grown out of that attitude and just watch the drama from the outside with no emotional investment.

@drinkingpony So... Baby oil is made from babies?
-
@adiwan And now I have to think of http://rainbowdash.net/url/875309
Have fun laughing. -
@drinkingpony It's more like whey and and pasteurized milk.
-
@adiwan Sooo... basically like how chips can be pringles, but pringles can not be chips... Regardless... Sillystuff.
-
@adiwan Haferkleie is oat bran in English and Haferflocken is oat flakes in English as far as the online translators say.
-
@drinkingpony "Haferkleie" is the stuff that remains in the sieve after sieving the ground oat (flour) like the shells and the outer layers of the oat seeds. "Haferflocken" is the oats being shaped into flakes (like corn flakes).
-
Stuff I need to ask an actual German:
What is the difference between "Haferkleie" and "Haferflocken"
