@adiwan I did that on my AP Computer Science exam free responses

@adiwan Jegus....
-
@adiwan Sure there isn't a modern version out there?
-
@adiwan My old self-taught QBASIC style was the worst, I'd try combining as many actions as I could into one line and end up at like 240 to 300 characters sometimes....
-
@adiwan New season?!
-
@adiwan I spend so much time as a lowly end-user at work, grumbling about if only I could just gorram do it myself....
-
@adiwan Maybe it'll turn out more like Rowlf rejoining the Muppets, anyway.
-
@adiwan Woo! It'll be like ET in the desert!
-
@adiwan Well, I recall a time I went to plug it in and couldn't find it, my uncle may have taken it. Or, maybe it's just buried in the rafters above the garage.
-
@adiwan Intellivision was pretty rad, my grandparents had one. Maybe they still do....
-
@adiwan Why? Because of how naïve yet a bit psychopathic he is?
-
@adiwan I figured it was probably something like that. Maybe I set something on my phone that messes with it, too.
-
@adiwan Matter of fact, I have my NES still hooked up with the RF box on an HD TV and it's not noticable to me. I wonder if my cheap TV actually has integrated some kind of fix or other....
-
@adiwan Nah, it was HD to HD, one HDMI cable.
-
@adiwan I've considered it, myself. Looks party.
-
@adiwan I have no right to complain, I at least have an evaporation cooler #DesertDweller!
-
@adiwan Oh boy, that sucks. The temps in my area have been hovering around 33, but the humidity is usually only 15%. Last week though, the humidity was at or above 55% the whole time and it sucks because I don't own an A/C

@adiwan Sounds like a good time for an archive binge!

@adiwan I’m settting up my standing workstation by vesa mounting 3 monitors to the wall. Having a programming job has been the worst for my health. I try to make up for it with cycling ........... and I just realized I’ve become a stereotypical ~40 white guy. (I’m only 21 :( )
-
@adiwan Yay!! We're doomed!!!
-
@adiwan Fingers crossed! Wait... that might drive them off, huh?
-
@adiwan I gotta get my IP spoof on!
-
@adiwan I stopped partway through S1. Between GLOW and OITNB, I think someone at Netflix has an "unlikeable female protagonist who refuses to learn or grow" fetish. Or I'm just too damn grouchy for fun. :-/ (Suddenly wondering if they have GWTW....)

@adiwan I used to watch because he had some clever observations and mostly stuck to the worst offenses, but I guess YouTube started paying better for longer videos so he turned to just anything being a "sin." "I don't immediately understand a thing that will be explained in ten seconds!" Ten seconds later... "Exposition." For fifteen gorram minutes. I've since moved on to Good Bad Flicks. More interesting talk about more interesting movies, IMO.
-
@adiwan Hooray, cultural exchanges!
-
@adiwan Uh, maybe? In English it's kind of synonymous with Goon or some other "low intellect underling" kind of terms.
-
@adiwan That’s a fair argument. The support and libraries are unmatched by far. It’s the downsides you mentioned that are the strengths of Go. C++ has stood against the test of time.
-
@adiwan Would it help if I reworded my statement to say that Go is the best multi use programming language in respect to it's paradigm? I work a lot with assembly and low level code for embedded systems, obviously I can't use Go for those applications. I'm comparing it more to other high level general purpose languages. Ive had a few professors try to preach to my about functional languages and the "glories" of stateless calculation and rave about it's ability to easily be parallelized. Restrictive Functional programming like Haskell has it's place sure but sometimes its about as useful in production as Lambda Calculus!

@adiwan There is an online appointment system, but it isn't in any way mandatory, and there are so few slots that the soonest I could get in was August; or, I could wait in line for a mere three hours.
-
@adiwan But for real, glad nothing bad came of it!
