Haven't watched the new Master's of the Universe movie, however I'm listening the soundtrack. It has surprisingly a lot of tracks that are absolute fire. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwSpzK8rFl4

@zeldatra There was an informal document for that https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persilschein People gave other a signature to vouch that they didn't commit any crimes or weren't part of the Nazi regime. It was not perfect but it was a part of building trust in that broken society.

Made another climb aid for plants out of rods and a net. https://i.imgur.com/hu8Uwtk.jpeg This will be for my beanstalks

I'm glad I bought a (cheap) table-top drill press. I can't imagine myself drilling straight and parallel holes into a tube by hand. Last year I bought a bunch of these tomato planters with a support included https://i.imgur.com/HDY48bW.jpeg However this is a piece of trash when it comes to stability. The support is made out of several segments made out of ABS plastic that bend over time due to heat and weight of the tomatoes. I had several of those buckets fall over because it was so bendy. I bought 25mm diameter aluminium broomsticks (cheaper than a similar tube out of the hardware store). I had to drill some holes to set the height for the support rings.

I was preparing my tomato seeds today https://i.imgur.com/OKIcjAk.jpeg I didn't learn from last year and did more than I have capacity in my garden right now. I guess my neighbours and friends have to suffer when I give them all what's left over.

@scribus Yeah. It sucks when the series updates very irregularly. I am still waiting for new Saga issues, however they keep on waiting. What's worse is buying into a series and shortly after it being cancelled. Happened to me a few times. I also bought the first issue and all future issues got cancelled like "Trust Fall" https://www.amazon.com/TRUST-FALL-English-Christopher-Sebela-ebook/dp/B07RF2YMCV Looked amazing. Synopsis amazing. Cancellation not so. In a weird way I trusted the series and they let me fall. In hindsight wonderfully meta.

If I hadn't this Humble Bundle Image Comics bundle is fire https://www.humblebundle.com/books/image-comics-in-10s-books About 17€ for bangers like Saga, I Hate Fairyland, Papergirls, and Curse Words. Moonstruck is neat, as well as Plutonia. Ice Cream Man I read only an issue and it's also intriguing as it's an anthology. Sex Criminals got me annoyed and stopped at Volume 3. Maybe it gets better but the characters were grating. mango Planet is a trash fire in my opinion despite the intriguing premise. I can't say anything about the other comics except most have fairly good reviews.

My house shares a path with other houses and at the beginning is a pole for signs. There was a sign showing which house numbers the houses have, however years ago it was vandalized and only a sliver of the sign remained. I removed the broken sign and replaced it with a 3D-printed a new one that has raised numbers https://i.imgur.com/5y0PEkC.jpeg I did separate prints and glued them together. The top sign says "Private path: Enter on your own risk!" because it's a typical sign in Germany for whenever the maintainer of the non-public path doesn't want to be liable for damages and injuries when it's slippery due to snow or rain. Maybe I take the time and remove the "Kill your local ANTIFA" sticker that's also years old.

Help! I'm designing a 10'' mini rack server case. TBH it's meant as a birthday present for a friend but secretly it's also something I might want to build for myself. There are some designs but I don't like how they look. My design looks neat, is modular and has a cover and is printable on my Prusa, except for the mounting rails of course.

Who could have thought that an old and worn-down part might be problematic as in adding more resistance and more wear and tear on other parts like the chain? This is how the old sprocket looks. https://i.imgur.com/DAXU1dt.jpeg After the change it's a difference like night and day, somehow surprisingly.

Got myself a really fine and smooth operating caliper at the flea market for just 9€. I had to clean it as it was gummed up with grime but it is better than the cheap one I bought new. This one has a number engraved on the back but doesn't bother me much. This one costs new about 35€. Great deal! https://i.imgur.com/HcteEYV.jpeg

Social media is a mistake. The bombardment of likes, reposts, (shallow) comments is highly distracting. https://bsky.app/profile/adiwan.bsky.social/post/3lxykitwn5224 Never thought a dumb picture of tomatoes would have that kind of reaction. I like screaming into the void and don't want the void to scream back.

I've repaired my broken Samson SR-850 headphones with an audiojack, as the original cable had its core broken after 4 years of constant use. Had to model myself a holder for the audio jack but now I can worry less about breaking a cable and can switch to shorter or longer cables whenever I like. https://i.imgur.com/67ka1Sk.jpeg

Here is a picture of the mid-stage of the blob removal https://i.imgur.com/5J8V3kl.jpeg I had to use a saw to get rid of the most of the molten plastic. Also I'm aware of the fact that the plastic color is eerily close the the 80's horror film blob.

@scribus Ah. That's a very good point. This is a good use-case for all the Roma fruits to be used up. Gonna buy beef patties and some buns tomorrow. As for Tigerella I have the UK sort that has small, cherry-sized, fruits https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tigerella (about 2 - 2.5 fingers wide).

Never thought my favorite game franchise gets a new game https://store.steampowered.com/app/1939890/Simon_the_Sorcerer_Origins/ It's a prequel. I guess since Simon The Sorcerer 3D it didn't recover from that catastrophe. Even the last two sequels were mid at best. 1 and 2 are still on the same level as Monkey Island 1 and 2 in my opinion.

Modeled a miniature holder myself https://i.imgur.com/xufhhPj.jpeg Minis without a big base are definitely problematic at the moment. I need to make extra vise jaws for low-profile bases. But that isn't a problem because I have the CAD model.

It's funny to me that Larian, the developer of Baldur's Gate 3, has renamed the EULA as a Pact and added this fine section https://i.imgur.com/kyWHaJZ.png At least someone is behind my back whenever, in the rare occasion, I might mistakenly form a pact with a fey creature.

Spent the last few days cleaning up my cellar. https://i.imgur.com/SdJfZVj.jpeg I bought some wall-mounted shelves for all the mid-size items that are too small for the big shelves and too big for the drawers. The drawers have mostly small parts like screws, bolts, and small tools, all neatly organized in 3d-printed bins. I put a countertop on the three containers to make this a small electronics workbench. The small parts organizers on top of the workbench have all my micro-controller stuff.

Yesterday, when I was starting a 3d-printing job, I was wondering why there was a funny plastic-y smell and why it took so long for the heat bed to heat up. A quite toasty surprise https://i.imgur.com/2O2CJsk.jpeg

I'm realizing that I need more upbeat and funky music. My MP3 player is full of orchestral soundtracks. I like them for sure but it's quite one-sided right now. Something with high energy like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRlcs7MI0uY&list=OLAK5uy_nq91NTOs3Pj9IdQOWyE_iVM_sPhqZVVAE&index=13
