Get really deep into my musical annalysis of Liar by Egypt Central for my music theory homework. Halfway through a thought, rice steamer goes off with a REALLY loud and annoying beep. Like, fire alarm type of annoying. I'd hate it if it wasn't so good at steaming both rice and other foodstuffs at the same time.

I really need to find the motivation to get back into either music or art. I have so much running through my head and no way to get it out. I just can never stick with it long enough to either show progress in skill or finish some ideas. Mainly I go mega ADD, get annoyed at my lack of progress, and ragequit. Would probably help if I had someone to work with and have as a regular go to for critique and advice. But oh well. /endrandomrant #procrastination.

@drac Mega late reply, but you asked who I describe doing hundreds of dollars of damage and changing the bathroom lock for very immature and beyond stupid reasons. It was my sister.

First was causing hundreds of dollars worth of damage to my room because I slammed the door chasing after her dog (of which both my dad and I didn't want in the house in the first place) and now she changed the lock on the bathroom door because I left the toilet seat up. Dad is papayased. 1 hour until she is possible kicked out or she leaves of her own will. Bad day is slowly becoming good.

@zach121k I don't remember the specific archetypes myself that well, but I understand what they are and their relevance to literature.

@zach121k Thankfully the people that DID understand happened to share my bio lab (which is the class after eng111). They ended up as my lab partners too.

@zach121k Even when given examples and pretty much drew a diagram on the board comparing different characters and what archetypes they filled, THEY STILL DIDN'T GET IT. /rage

90% of my english 111 class did not understand me when I said that fairy tales generally have a strict adherence to character archetypes. It took the professor about 5 minutes to explain it and even then, most of them didn't actually understand what we were saying.

@darkbeat I don't own an xbox anymore and I don't have a ps3 yet. Most of the games I play are available on PC anyway. I really want a ps3 though.
