  1. @redenchilada Okay: How did you manage to NOT find the second dungeon?

  2. @redenchilada The thing is though: Was there a triforce in Crash? No? Case closed.

  3. @redenchilada Well, then try to play wind waker, it's considered one of the best!

  4. We're trying a new method. We don't know where in your dream this will show up. Anyway, the thing is, you've been in a coma for good 15 years now, and we miss you. Please wake up.

  5. @flamingpandaomg Yeah I know. Oh boy, just remembered I never played it through, I stopped like at the second last dungeon because I lost interest. Damn attention span-

  6. @cinnamonswirl @nerthos why do I love this so much?

Thursday, 01-May-14 18:09:32 UTC from web in context
  7. @flamingpandaomg Or the Wind Waker reboot, and I wouldn't have thought but the Cat-Mario game is actually great too. Though I think the new DK sucks... Zombie U was nice, though not worth the buying. There are great party games too.

Thursday, 01-May-14 18:08:33 UTC from web in context
  8. @nerthos I know, I just like throwing pieces of knowledge in there.

Thursday, 01-May-14 18:07:21 UTC from web in context
  9. @nerthos Steam is the sole reason indie games had such a boom. Steam did it before it was cool

Thursday, 01-May-14 18:06:16 UTC from web in context
  10. @flamingpandaomg I actually like the Wii U but it fails, big time.

Thursday, 01-May-14 18:05:49 UTC from web in context
  11. @flamingpandaomg Well, the WiiU probably hadn't

Thursday, 01-May-14 18:04:54 UTC from web in context
  12. @nerthos Though I have to point here that Valve had one of the biggest impacts on gaming, in the new era of gaming.

Thursday, 01-May-14 18:04:24 UTC from web in context
  13. @nerthos Well I don't know enough about the ages of the viewers, so I can't argue with you there

Thursday, 01-May-14 18:03:38 UTC from web in context
  14. @nerthos But Mario 64 had better sales

Thursday, 01-May-14 18:02:47 UTC from web in context
  15. @nerthos Yeaaaah but it changed the gaming industry. In some way or anohter.

Thursday, 01-May-14 18:01:37 UTC from web in context
  16. @redenchilada Blasphemy! Also I didn't think the Sega consoles had such a good start in Germany as the Nintendo ones did. On every yard sale I see tons of Nintendo stuff and very few Sega stuff. Been looking for Sega consoles some time now

Thursday, 01-May-14 18:01:12 UTC from web in context
  17. @nerthos That might not be true if I look at the newest part of the generation

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:58:34 UTC from web in context
  18. @redenchilada Yeah but... The Legend of Zelda and stuff...

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:56:58 UTC from web in context
  19. @nerthos Well yeah, but not for it's time

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:56:29 UTC from web in context
  20. @nerthos But I'm thrilled what happens now: Will gaming get less and less support until it's only entertainment as watching it? Or is it some sort of on and off switch, so the next next generation will play like hell again?

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:55:52 UTC from web in context
  21. @techdisk Well, I only own one game, a game I also grew up with <w< GEX

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:54:51 UTC from web in context
  22. @redenchilada Because we obviously can ignore what Mario did for the gaming industry? Because we can ignore how Super Mario 64 brought us one of the first amazing 3D enviorments? Because we can ignore how Zelda influences works so much still today? Because we can ignore how Metroidvania is still a thing? This heart, it beats for ye olde heroes, which may make repetitive games nowadays, but they are good - viewed from a game design-ish position: Mario does everything right. It introduces new mechanics slow paced and in a good way.

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:54:26 UTC from web in context
  23. @nerthos I thought you meant like a split in the society of gamers, like gamers and viewers are not the same people

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:51:10 UTC from web in context
  24. @redenchilada No. And to be honest, I was never into Sega that much. I mean Nintendoes what Sega don't (This quote is historically incorrect, and I am sorry. But I grew up to love Nintendo, and I am raised to be very loyal. May they mess up nowadays, they still got at least one person who is thrilled to see what's next)

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:50:39 UTC from web in context
  25. @nerthos Well, that could be true. But aren't the players mostly the viewers as well? Is there anything that proves that COD-Kiddie Tom(8) isn't xXxXxThomasTheapplesesKiller08xXxXx, the livestream viewer?

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:48:39 UTC from web in context
  26. @techdisk Well a NES and it's games are quite still there, ready for you to buy. They aren't as expensive as a PS4, so there you go. I was born a year later, and didn't realise how big the thing of my Grandmother selling our NES was until it was too late. But I've still got 2 N64 and a 3DO (Don't tell me it's a bad console, it was great ;n;) lying here.

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:46:15 UTC from web in context
  27. @nerthos Oh yeah, we here mostly skipped the arcade time, because I live in Germany, nuff said - no really. I can't think I have ever even heard of an arcade around here, nor did I get to hear any story from cross country friends about them. So Germany mostly got in at the NES stage - at least that's what I'm made to believe

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:44:14 UTC from web in context
  28. @techdisk To comment that I'd have to know in what generation you were born in. But you're mostly too late to roam the middle ages and too early to explore the depth of space.

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:40:39 UTC from web in context
  29. @awlderpy I have no idea what that means! It's alright! :3

Thursday, 01-May-14 17:38:28 UTC from web in context
  30. @nerthos Hmm, that's a way of defining a generation, but then again a generation could also be considered... damn it, no way to describe it while sounding bright xD Like within a family, that's a biological generation.
