Brony since March-ish, writer since sometime before that. I write fan fiction when I feel like doing something productive, and I preread for Equestria Daily when I don't. My favorite word beginning with o is "oscillate". Rainbow Dash is best pony until Vinyl Scratch gets a canon line.
And that's all I have to say about that.

@slenderstallion A sarcastic, borderline alcoholic PI in Manehattan gets a case that ends up taking him to Ponyville and forcing him to confront a part of his past he's been avoiding for years. I consider it to be an anti-noir fic, in a sense, in that it follows the general "dark realism" trend of noir stories, but by portraying it in a way that (I hope, at least) is both funny and an interesting parallel to the much more Ponyville style of life that still exists within the same in-story universe.

@redenchilada That's actually kind of hearsay. My mom was just like, "Yeah, I couldn't really explain it, oddly enough, so I'm pretty sure she thinks you're mentally challenged or something now." In any case, I don't even know who it is to begin with. And if "mentally challenged" is the worst thing anyone ever calls me, I'm okay with that. XD

Earlier today, my mother tried to explain the fact that I watch MLP to one of her friends, whose daughters (ages 4 and 7) also watch it. Apparently, her friend now thinks I'm mentally challenged. Can't wait to randomly meet her one day and watch her try to equate "6'4" well-built senior in high school who plays three varsity sports and listens to metal music" with ponies. While all the while, I effortlessly discuss Sonic Rainbooms and fashion shows with her two young children.
