!bcbronies Hey, if anyone going to the paintball would be brave enough to take a pic or video with their phone or something (hopefully outside of the battlefield or in the middle of peace time) it would be cool to see some shots of the hangout. Maybe some of you could try painting a pony with the paintballs or something. I dunno.

!bcbronies Just an update on Operation SibsyCard, it all went off as well as it possibly could have. She was surprised and absolutely thrilled. Should be a post with a bunch of pics and the video I recorded up on EqD sometime tomorrow.

!bcbronies Just to get people up to speed, since there seems to be some sort of mystery going on: On Saturday people signed a large birthday card for Sibsy and a small group of us are hoping to meet at DHX and surprise her with it. We're in talks with some people at the studio to discuss the feasibility of this, though the smaller our group, the more likely we'll be let in to give her the card. As such, the group going to DHX is closed and locked, and I apologize to anyone who was hoping to attend. If we're denied access to the studio outright and we have some advance notice of such, we may open the meet up to some more people and meet with Big Jim at the cafe downstairs from DHX, though our preference would be to hand it over in person.

!bcbronies I'm in this Entrepreneurial IT course in university over the summer and as the main project, we need to essentially make a business and the groups get more profit based on their business' earnings. My group's making a company where we'll design websites for clients. Prices for this are based on the complexity of the site, and things that involve additional PHP coding, widgets, more professional themes, many pages, etc. would drive up the price, but we could probably make up a simple Wordpress site for $50-$100. So I'm wondering, if anyone thinks they'd be interested in a website, or if you know anyone who might be interested, drop a line to mshay@live.ca or bronymike@derpymail.com if you'd prefer. Sorry to advertise this here, but I've gotta get something done on this before I get to the next class, or I'm in trouble with the group. We just need to show the teacher that there's some amount of demand and that there are prospective clients so we can proceed with the project.

@thepuzzldpirate !bcbronies Also, Everfree's close, but not THAT close. We could still do some sort of medium-sized meetup, but a full-on convention is kinda illogical, if infeasible.

!bcbronies Does anyone have any tips on parking up in Gastown? I got a third part-time job and can't use my usual method of parking on Vancouver. Is it always meters up there (and how much do they cost), or is there anywhere that's free?

@sn1122 !bcbronies Hahahaha, I was thinkin' about asking people. I'd been checking the registration page over and over for the past week waiting for tickets to go on sale, and I don't check for a couple hours and they sell out of three-day passes. It's ridiculous. But PAX is worth it, so I bought the individual passes. Luckily my friend in Seattle might let me stay at his place, so in the end I'm saving by not needing a hotel.

@afancorp !bcbronies I'm thinkin' for photos, we're gonna have to keep 'em fairly private. At the very least, no releases to blogs or whatnot. Maybe a casual upload to Youtube or Facebook but just be extremely careful and try to do it gradually and certainly not make a big deal out of any of it.
