  1. So "Star Wars" is talking about some Rose spinoff. I guess she goes around, interrupting other people's plots in the third act, or something.

    • @scribus I'd rather want to watch the other "Asian" character from the Star Wars universe on the big screen: Doctor Aphra. It'd be worth it just for the droids 000 and BT-1.

    • @scribus Not sure what is funnier, your synopsis or the fact that someone went as far as to put that information out there, no doubt it is a troll.

Even the people who would have cared (and undoubtedly would have shouted about how they want an Obi Wan thing instead) have long left the active scene.

Star Wars news is still chucked at me on the daily and it just leaves me lethargic now.

        • @adiwan Ohhhh Nooo... You are an enabler...

I know you mean well but for the love of Cheezus Chrust. If you were to look at the amount of junk in my room RN it would not take you 3 minutes before screaming something along the lines of

"What's that in the corner ? Is that a Shopper Stroller ? As in something you need when you start to feel 70+ years old, WHY DO YOU HAVE ONE ?!?"

        • @drinkingpony I emptied my room at my parent's apartment in the last weeks and I had a room that was about 4m by 2m big (about 13.1 feet by 6.5 feet ) and it was filled to the brim with videogames, comics and just stuff. I have an own apartment and it is miraculously cluttered as my former room. I'm an IRL Tetris packing master.

Even though what is happening is like half a planet away and 'it' probably does not change anything if you are angry about it.

That said I'd kinda like to know more in-detail stuff.

You can’t ignore our dark history, try as you might, for fear of repeating it eventually. Yet, if you’ve been paying attention to Virginia politics recently, it seems people are keen on re-writing our history to make it seem like racism isn’t something that was ever socially acceptable, when the horrible truth is that it wasn’t just acceptable, it was encouraged. In a state where lynchings were commonplace, segregation was legally and economically enforced, and whites were only allowed to marry whites (a distinction that was rare even in the South), you have to recognize that racism didn’t just disappear overnight in 1964. Governor Northam and Attorney General Herring both wore tasteless costumes thirty-five years ago. They’ve done so much for black (and Hispanic) Virginians since then. Their growth mirrors the growth of the state.

            • Overheard at work:
              "Oh! I got a Viking!"
              "What's a Viking?"
"The logo for my football team."
              "Which team?"

              Obviously, you're not a golfer. :p

The only thing that's different is me: I've become bitter, and, let's face it, crazy over the years. And once I'm swept into office, I'll sell our children's organs to zoos for meat, and I'll go into people's houses at night and wreck up the place. Muahahaha!"
