@colfax also the ammount of stuff to move including how much furniture, and your real name would be helpful.
-
@colfax coming down with something maybe?
-
@colfax Hope you can feel a little better, at least.
-
@colfax Take care, Hope you will feel better in a few ( less than a few is fine too )
-
@colfax I have the same problem
-
@colfax "Kolonists of Catan" ... Place as in "a club" ... Something that is usually fun... Also you do not have to play it "in the facility"
-
@colfax Try to find a place where they play boardgames :D
-
@colfax alternately your ex's apartment works
-
@colfax I need your storage's address (DM if you like)
-
@colfax okidoke
-
@colfax "What strings are there attached to this?" he's asking himself.. Well, it would take me a week maybe to set it up and get in contact with the people necessary, and they may or may not hit on you religiously... It's unlikely they would I think honestly.
-
@colfax I can almost guarantee you a phone number of a guy who I've never met that I know will give you transportation to help move your stuff. #mormonconnections
-
@colfax Also, you could probably get help from your local mormon or other dogooder. You have untapped resources there I think, though they'd be strangers. Depends on how willing you are to rely on strangers.
-
@colfax Kay. Bye colfax!
-
@colfax When it comes time to transport everything, how realistic would it be if you just got it all out within the allotted time, set it in an alley or next to the apartment building or something out in the open, but as safe as possible given the circumstances, and, staring with the most valuable stuff first, carried it to the bus stop and storage load by load? Or maybe the storage is in walking distance maybe.
-
@colfax Keep at the hunt I guess. Make it your total focus and maybe you'll get lucky. How much does storage cost per month?
-
@colfax My point isn;t to force you to dwell on it, but to help you face it. You might have to do this if you can't find work any other way.
-
@colfax welp.. I'm more prepared for myself now at least.
-
@colfax It's a violation of free speech to prohibit panhandling apparently. Of course they can give you a hard time for it, but I wouldn't let that stop me.. then again, I have a wife to take care of.
-
@colfax "Medford had a law banning solicitation anywhere within 50 feet of a bank and other public places until a circuit judge struck down the city ordinance last month."
-
@colfax Out in the roadway, interfering with traffic, or at the point at which the way that they're asking for money breaks some other law, so they're threatening people, getting into the range of robbery, or they become physical with somebody," said Lt. Scott Fellman with the Eugene Police Department.
-
@colfax I think you just can't do it next to businesses.
-
@colfax panhandling is a protected right I think as long as you do it like on the side of a road.. You want me to look it up for you?
-
@critialcloudkicker @colfax as in, begging pedestrians, not store owners, for any little job.. yard work, etc.
-
@critialcloudkicker @colfax that suuucks! hmm.. Maybe the homeless shelter folks can give some tips. I suppose knocking door to door where soliciting is allowed offering to do odd jobs would be my personal close-to-last resort. Also, begging at stores or on the streets for work, not even just money, you know?
-
@colfax If hugs meant anything I would certainly give one. I just wish I could do more to help.
-
@colfax Wow. Life really isn't giving you a break. At all. Potato Knish that. :\
-
@colfax are fast food places really so not-in-need of workers?
-
@colfax you've got our sympathy. Have you tried a different town for work yet? That would pay your storage.
-
@colfax Awww.
