  1. Quick! Somepony convince me not to get a Google+!

    1. @thelastgherkin I got one yesterday...

    2. @thelastgherkin I got nothing. Wait - it's not really widely embraced enough to replace Facebook, so if your friends list is anything like mine less than half of the people you know have a G+ (and less than half of them ever seem to post).

      1. @scribus I was thinking more for ponies, not personal.

        1. @thelastgherkin Oh, well then. It's laden with poni, but loads of *that* is of a . . . questionable nature.

          1. @scribus Crud in a bucket no way.

            1. @thelastgherkin It's not a majority of what I see, but there's a lot more of it on G+ than on RDN.

              1. @scribus @thelastgherkin There's... ~some of that on G+, but very few of the people I have on there post that stuff.

                1. @shydash @scribus I'm not taking any chances.

                  1. @thelastgherkin @shydash I don't even know how many people are posting it to my stream. XD I've been kind of indiscriminately encircling ponies. It could just be one or two for all the attention I pay to it.

                    1. @scribus Daily Express: 'Man Indiscriminately Encircled Ponies'.

                      1. @pawnheart I feel like I should have had a Shrugging Scribus image ready for the occasion.

                        1. @scribus In a parallel universe, I am soullessly crushing the livelihoods of ponies by making out-of-context headlines for tabloid newspapers. I pray each day that I shall not become him. I don't care how bad the economy is...

                          1. @pawnheart Yeah, I can understand the sentiment. Everyone knows the best headlines are cheap puns and alliteration.

                            1. @scribus Exactly. It is the only reason I have mildly more tolerance for the Sun than other papers. It's still gashbags, but at least they got an alliterative wunderkind as a sub-editor.

                              1. @pawnheart They had 'Bin Bagged' on the front page when Osama was killed, and when Elton John got married they had 'Elton Takes It Up The Aisle'. oh dear.

                                1. @mark Bloody awful. But, at the same time, its hard to take them seriously which, as I've said before, actually may be a saving grace. I'll never forget the headline of the Daily Express when the French government declined entry into the Iraq conflict on the grounds of their not being a legal justification... It simply said 'Betrayal'. It epitomised everything I hate about the media.

                                  2. @pawnheart Headlines are just there to make you read on really, they're really misleading sometimes. It's more annoying when some people only read headlines and skim the article, because then they get half a story and preach that it's the truth.
