@ponydude One time my Web Tech teacher taught us broken JS that only worked right in IE, lol.

@pony My sister put a passsword on it so nothing can be downloaded dang maybe i can get it later. D:

@gingersnap360 well, it looks like the script is incompatible with Trixie in any case.. I'm sorry about that.. next I'll try RDNrefresh. I'll let you know whether that works
-
@gingersnap360 okidoke.. so IE is not an option if you want to use either of the refresh scripts. You could use an auto-refresher for IE, but I don't think that's a good idea unless you really hate clicking or hitting F5. If you can get Chrome or Firefox those are your best bets, but I understand that's up to your sister since it's her computer. :P Well.. Sorry I couldn't be much help.. Maybe the creator of !Mintrefresh @minti wouldn't mind looking into making his script compatible with Trixie, but that's probably a low priority right now to say the least.
-
@pony I wonder what Trixie is doing to make it incompatible? It's just standard JS and Jquery, both of which are fully functional in IE. Perhaps Trixie doesn't allow quite the level of DOM manipulation that Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey do
-
@ceruleanspark that's what I'm thinking too.. or maybe some weird syntactical incompatibility. !RDNrefresh won't even load in Trixie whereas !Mintrefresh loads, but doesn't appear to have any effect. meh.. That's why i like Chrome best.
-
@pony Well, both of RDN refresh's devs have described it was "Really Hacky"
-
@pony I could look into making it work with Trixie. Too bad it doesn't document the differences between GM/TT and Trixie x.x
-
@minti A broswer addon named Trixie? is it a pony addon or something else?
-
@pony It's a pun on the phrase "Teaching an old dog new tricks". So no pony.
-
@minti okidoke. :)
-
@ponydude Yeah I gave up on that 5 minutes later. xD
-
@ponydude I always thought it was just pictures of poultry and Digimon characters!
-
@redenchilada Broken JS that only works in IE? ........... I hope you're going to buy me a new desk. :l
-
@minti Translation: Useless javascript that no one will ever see.
-
@minti Apparently IE doesn't care if you forget the "document." prefix when getting form data?
-
@redenchilada Lolwhat?!
-
@forestrain Yeah, we didn't really get deep into JS... I taught myself more in an hour than her class covered in those two weeks.
-
@ponydude Lol, yeah. That's basically my coding style too..
-
@minti I have absolutely no clue myself.
