Feeling kinda down. Ponies can't fix it this time. Also starting to doubt whether I should even post this on here or not. But if I don't, what other site do I go to (brony or non-brony)? I haven't got a clue. I know there are some really awesome, supportive people on here, but ever since the Derpy fiasco I've seen almost as much hate, if not more, than love and tolerance on here. And it's just not the same. This for me is no longer a place where I can relax in peace and get away from life, as I now know that anyone could start acting like a /b/tard, and I'm back to ground zero. So I don't know; overall I think the situation was a disaster and all of us that participated, be it either on the hate or love Derpy side, should be ashamed of ourselves. We must face it, we weren't our best, even me. I know in my consciousness that I didn't hate on anyone on purpose, but I should've ignored the negative comments. And I just don't know anymore, the general magic of this place was lost for me =/

@sebastian1314 There are a bunch of places sites you can go there's normally a Brony community at least 1 of them in sites all across the internet.

@lyokotravels Well, I don't really want to leave either. I wish none of it would've happened; I wish I could have my old view of RDN back. It's just not the same after seeing so much hate in a community that stands for love.

@sebastian1314 It's a bit amazing, really. People went all out on me when I hhad my "episode", or whatever you want to call it, but when they don't like a background pony who was famous by mistake, it's alright to do this?

@lyokotravels Yeah... I guess the real issue is that I used to believe RDN to be a place where I could chill without having to worry about life, haters, trolls, and whatnot, but I guess not...

@minti Was unaware of that. I guess that helps somewhat? Anyways, I might just be overreacting to a few bumps in the road. I still have faith in our capability for love and tolerance, it's just that it's hard after seeing so much hate y'know. But as they say, "this too shall pass."

@sebastian1314 Us bronies go against what humans are supposed to be like. We love and tolerate, but humans are made to hate and discriminate, not to mention destroy and employ.

@minti not really... being a Mod is serious since it's managing a site itself and it's users actions in a community itself. ( needs experience and know what your doing )

@insistentgemini0subjugglators That's true on so many levels. But isn't the next step in evolution, and civilization as a whole, where we're heading towards (love, toleration, etc.)? Just a thought, but quite an interesting one. After all, our messages were spread and spoken by (depending on your beleifs) Jesus, Muhammad, Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr... The list goes on and on.

@lyokotravels Was global moderator on Eclipse (touchofdeathforums.com) for a good year or so, I still have mod status but I don't go there anymore. Also was voted to become a global moderator on a site with 10,000 members. Didn't even apply to be a mod, accepted it anyway. Stayed in power for 3 years before quitting because the game the forum was dedicated to blew up. xD

@minti But in all seriousness, mods don't really do much on this site. It's mostly deleting spambots and clarifying rules for others. Oh, and sometimes mischief.

@sebastian1314 In the grand scheme of things, Those were flukes. Evolution may or may not be heading in the direction you think. It could be heading very far downhill, as it looks like today, or be going uphill, just very slowly. But, if one thing makes you feel better, it's the best thing for you.

Anyways, I need to go to sleep, but I thank everypony for the encouraging words and support; I do believe I have caught a glimpse of my old RDN that I used to know and love =) I still have faith, and it's going to take a lot more than a few bad events to beat it all outta me! But it's good to know the old RDN is lurking there somewhere... Waiting to be seen... Yeah, so see y'all tomorrow! =)

@minti Honestly, this site's pretty peaceful. You wouldn't find yourself taking a whole lot of moderator action, anyway. (And that's what makes this place great!)

@redenchilada Wow, seriously? The only one for me is Eclipse, and even then I left because it became a monarchy run by a retarded programmer who can't even properly code an item tooltip for a game without the fps dropping by like 30 (capped at 60 >_>)
