Must dash... Back shortly!
Sunday, 11-Mar-12 18:20:31 UTC from web-
@mrdragon My apologies. I'm at work. PM for you sir.
-
@lightningcrash Back to you
-
@mrdragon At last a lull in the endless stream of orders. Replied. Also, how was your sleep?
-
@lightningcrash Good, but need more next time. Lots more.
-
@mrdragon You okay?
-
@pawnheart Constantly lacking energy, and can never sleep enough it seems to gain it back
-
@mrdragon Heh. I know the feeling. Just get a day where you sleep until you can't sleep no more. Also, it's died here at the restaurant. Seems the lunch rush has ended.
-
@mrdragon Hmm... do you understand roughly why?
-
@pawnheart Nope, not a clue
-
@princessderpy Nope, just constant insomnia, medically induced thanks to past medication.
-
@mrdragon What medication (that is... if you don't mind disclosing)?
-
@pawnheart I was on ADHD, Ritalin, then moved up to a experimental (When I was 10 so 10 years ago now) one called Concerta XL, I had a 1:100,000 chance of it messing up my blood system, and it did so. Leaving other nasty side effects. It's not a 1:10,000 chance.
-
@mrdragon So... you're not taking them any more? and are these side-effects purportedly "permanent"?
-
@pawnheart I got off them when I was 12, am not allowed any medication that affects the mental area. And yes, these are permanent.
-
@mrdragon That's a pain... did you even have ADHD? Or was it one of those panic prescriptions?
-
@pawnheart No, ADHD is common place in my families line. So I have it, that's a positive. I'd been on medication since... oh I think I was either 5 or 6.
-
@mrdragon Did it help that aspect at least?
-
@pawnheart Turned me more into a mindless zombie then anything else
-
@princessderpy Don't worry about it, was a long time ago.
-
@ponyray Eeyup

@mrdragon Good thing you stopped (...to state the obvious, there). It could be clinical depression... I've been through a similar spot myself lately (coming out of it now, I hope). I'm used to low mood having some form of recognisable trigger... which was not apparently the case here. It can be helped though... it just ain't always immediately obvious how. ... but I think I'm digressing and speculating... er... more dots!
-
@pawnheart WHY DO I PUT SO MANY DOTS IN SENTENCES?
-
@pawnheart Trust me, I am in no way clinically depressed. It's mostly due to the lack of foods that I should be eating on some cases. Some days I have enough fruits and other foods I need, others I don't. Depends on my schedule. The rest of it is due to my nocturnal nature. I do get depressed, we all do. It's apart of our chemical matrix and markup, but I'm quite happy in my own way. Just tired, until I am active with something.
-
@princessderpy You been feeling a bit better about things since then, I take it?
-
@mrdragon Oh, well that's good to hear. So you kinda know ways to change the situation?
-
@pawnheart Oh yeah, I'm just a lazy murdock. I never change :D
-
@princessderpy When you put it like that... it sounds like some prison colony from a dystopic scifi story ...'We were shipped away by light-speed freighter to mine Brabantium on the prison colony COLON THREE'.
-
@mrdragon What's food? Is that the thing that interrupts computer time?
-
@mrdragon Fair enough!
-
@princessderpy Well, that's very good to hear!
-
@pawnheart s/Bribantium/Mythril
-
@redenchilada I was thinking of my Latin textbooks from school actually... there was a dude called 'Brabantio' who was always doing very simple things around his house... presumably to provide an easy access-way into that "essential" language.
-
@redenchilada I eat at the computer
-
@princessderpy Well... what is life without questions?
-
@mrdragon me too
-
@pawnheart Cya mate
-
@pawnheart See you~
