          @macpony55 mhmm, unfortunately. I looked at this kind of thing a little during my Uni course, it's pretty interesting how recent a development it is in the grand scheme of things. People don't seem to realise that it used to be different

              @macpony55 I'm not going to entirely agree with you there, since the 'majority' when referring to over 7 billion people is pretty hard to solidify. But it's true that a lot of people don't know about things like that in the past. But then I didn't up until recently. At least it can be shown that people are progressing and keeping in with more current ideas. Things like that won't last forever, it will be something new in a generation or two

                @trister Well I think by majority that would be more in the US, some other countries are much further ahead in those areas then we are as a whole. And change really depends on which way it goes, it could just get worse

                  @macpony55 I don't think it will. Remember that it was illegal to be homosexual, at least in England, for a good while, and not not only is it not illegal but a lot of the stigma is breaking down. You can look at it in similar terms to racism, though that isn't gone it's less than it ever was. There will probably be some other thing for people to get angry about in the future, and that too will likely sort itself out, but that's how progress goes, it can be pretty rocky
