@greatandpowerfuleaglehooves i think my laptop is 13.3" (at least its screen is) and it can play skyrim on high. I love my laptop. It's also 3.5 pounds, so it's freaking amazing.

@greatandpowerfuleaglehooves I had a 15" that weighed 5 pounds, had a 1366x768 resolution, and couldn't play minecraft at all. My current laptop is 13.3", 1600x900, 3.5 pounds, and can run skyrim. I do believe I got an upgrade. :D

@yodelerty it's a Sony Vaio SA. it cost $1500, but it was worth every loonie. Don't get the SB, it's a lot more crappy.

@redenchilada I only really want it to be lighter and have longer battery life. Mine weighs ~7 lbs and has ~2 hour battery life the way I use it. :|

@redenchilada lol my mom got the exact same $1500 computer I got, because she wanted a new one that had an English keyboard. Those bilingual keyboards they put on laptops here in Canada are HORRIBLE. The SA had a standard US keyboard, while the SB had a bilingual. My mom paid alot more just so she could avoid that keyboard.

@techdisk42 I friggin' hate the bilingual keyboard. Every so often my laptop'll just decide it wants to go to Canadian bilingual mode and I'll start typing accented E's instead of commas. :|

@yodelerty you can fix that by holding the right ctrl and right shift, or you can go into language settings and just plain delete the French layout. Besides, I was talking about the physical bilingual keyboard that cuts your left shift in half, shoves your enter key way over to the right, and adds all these french symbols onto the keys. I'm a touch typest, and i become about 40% slower on these keyboards than a normal English one.

@techdisk42 My keyboard has a bunch of French characters on it next to the regular characters, which I assume is what you're talking about.

@yodelerty if your left shift key is about the same size as the rest of your keys, then yes. If it's a long "bar" key, it's English or something else.
