@extremedash No, that happened after she stepped down from the show. Also, @ziggystardust, season 2's writing was completed weeks ago, so as for her part, it'll still be the same.

@retl @thewolverine @fluttershylove FiM needs Lauren to control the canons. It's still a young show. Fans and Hasbro are going to force improbable personalities out of LF's vision onto the characters. If there were a season 3 . Will the Twilight, Rarity, Fluttryshy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash be the same pony we once knew?

@ziggystardust "If there were a season 3 ." If people jump ship out of paranoia before Season 2 even starts, Season 3 will not exist. "Will the Twilight, Rarity, Fluttryshy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash be the same pony we once knew?" It's fairly likely they're not all going to the only set of main characters for more season if Hasbro wants to sell more toys. Anyway, you realize there were like +5 different writers for the show, right? In addition to the directors and producers that all had a hand? You can doom and despair if you want, but that's not the type of attitude the show would encourage.

@retl That's why Lauren Faust as executive producer is needed at the helm. I just wondered in the time between now and Season 2's debut, will things change for the better. Could there be a brony inside Hasbro who could turn the situation around? If Hasbro reconsidered and offered Lauren to head FiM again on a 3rd season, will she accept?

@ziggystardust I apologize if this comes off as mean, but I want there to be no misunderstanding in why I'm acting as if I don't care: You're being a tad irrational jumping to negative conclusions about a season three that might never come to exist. Aside from buying the toys or buying Hasbro stock, there isn't much say we have in what they do. And a show is made by dozens of people all collaborating. Starting with paranoia now before a Season 2 even arrives to have its chance could scare off more potential viewers and annihilate any chance of continuation, for better or worse. And I'm fairly sure most of us would rather have any FiM-universe quality pony at all rather than none. And if they decide to stop being intelligent with the show, it will show, and they will probably drop the subtitle and make a new series. Enjoy what already worked on rather than worrying over the worst possible future case, and realize that the others on staff have their own stake in the material as well.

@delc17 I have my hands full trying to keep up to speed with my fellow Brony friends that watching ponies even shoots in with it from time to time. I had no idea, although I did had a conversation about "maybe she is pregnant" when it first came up Lauren had left the show... maybe my subconcious had already read that mesage by that time ^^

@fluttershylove It's more that she's not really technologically-advanced and thought that because though her (unadvertised) FB is for her actual friends only, that only they could see her profile pic. She obviously knows it doesn't work that way now, but she didn't prior to this.
