So, gang. What's your favourite Disney film?

@thelastgherkin AAAAAUGH DON'T MAKE ME PICK
-
@thelastgherkin I liked Mulan, because it had an actual heroin. But there are others that are good too. I just don't like some morals they teach. Pirates of the Caribbean was really good too, but I don't know if it fits.
-
@thelastgherkin ohh.... well... forgive me if I miss out any obvious contenders for the best... but i love Lion king, Pixar (not incredibles and rattatouie, they were awful) ...... my minds gone blank... I cant think.... :/
-
@conventrix somepony needs to give that Scootaloo a coffee.
-
@thelastgherkin Hm.... Lion King? Hercules? Aladdin? I really don't know.
-
@purplephish20 >Ratatouille >awful. Yeah we can't talk any more.
-
@redenchilada THAT MOVIE WAS BAD AND YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD
-
@nerthos Pirates of the Caribbean probably doesn't fit. I'm thinking animated films, i.e. the first table on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Disney_theatrical_animated_features
-
@purplephish20 INSTANT UNSUB.
-
@nerthos But yeah, I loved Mulan. Might be my favourite! Or Oliver & Company. Or Basil the Great Mouse Detective.
-
@flaxx I CAN SHOW YOU THE WORLD
-
@conventrix lol. I'm sure there were easier ways to say that, but okay. Lol. I think I get it.
-
@thelastgherkin The sword in the stone was awesome too. I probably never saw half of the list xD and some I saw so long ago I don't really remember them
-
@conventrix LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS
-
@thelastgherkin SHINING, SHIMMERING, SPLENDID !singalong
-
@thelastgherkin @greydragon412 confession.... I've never seen Mulan.... so i'm guessing its good?
-
@purplephish20 I thought I was the only one!
-
@greydragon412 >implying it would simply be on for me to watch it should I turn on a TV
-
@purplephish20 It's amazing.
-
@purplephish20 @thelastgherkin @greydragon412 Confession: I have seen almost no Disney films, at least to the end. I'm not even sure how that happened, since I'm not _opposed_ to watching them.
-
@flaxx BOY WE ARE WATCHING MULAN.
-
@greydragon412 @thelastgherkin what it about? Is the general summary ; woman pretands to be man so she can serve in the army?
-
@purplephish20 Go. Youtube or something. Or just google it.
-
@spectrumscramble WHAT HAPPENED
-
@purplephish20 There should be a "with the help of Eddie Murphy" in there somwhere.
-
@thelastgherkin WE ARE?
-
@purplephish20 Is more about "Woman dresses as a man so she can take the place of her old father and save him from ertain death, saves the whole empire, and is accompanied by a really funny dragon"
-
@thelastgherkin I DON'T EVEN KNOW. I _have_ seen The Emperor's New Groove, oddly enough. That was pretty fun. Somehow managed to end up not watching pretty much any that you'd expect from my age group (Lion King and other ones around that point in time).
-
@greydragon412 @thelastgherkin @spectrumscramble The emperors new groove WAS legendary...
-
@flaxx YES. In like a synchtube or something. Or get your rump over here.
-
@thelastgherkin I'm lazy so Synchtube it is. But when?
-
@spectrumscramble You should get on that.
-
@flaxx Arunno. I doubt it's even on Youtube.
-
@purplephish20 Agreed.
-
-
@thelastgherkin Yep. I'll probably pop into CeX (preowned film/games/console store, _really_ awesome) on my way home and see how many I can get hold of. Which would you recommend I start with (given The Emperor's New Groove and Tarzan are the only ones I'm absolutely certain I've seen)?
-
@thelastgherkin Welp, we'll have to find /some/ way to watch it!
-
@spectrumscramble Mulan, The Lion King, Aladdin?
-
@spectrumscramble From the ones I have seen, the only one I can speak aganist is Alice in wonderland. Most of the others should be fine.
-
-
@thelastgherkin Sounds good.
-
@nerthos Oh, pretty sure I've seen that one too, now I think about it. Fairly meh, yeah, especially since the books from which the character/setting originally came are much better in their weirdness.
-
@spectrumscramble I personally loathe the whole thing.
