                  2. @carcino Oh, I have dreams pretty often. And once in a while I have a bad dream, and in a short time from that moment something bad happens or someone of my family dies.

                          1. @carcino Yup. It seems everybody I know that fits into that profile is lacking in the nightmare field. My mother thinks they're caused by being preocupied by someone else, if that's right, sadly, I'm pretty much immune to them.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:35:01 UTC from web
                            1. @nerthos actually studies have proven that the majority of dreams are negative in some way.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:36:03 UTC from web
                              1. @praxis Negativity is so subjective, though.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:37:16 UTC from web
                                1. @scribus indeed it is, but in the generally accepted meaning of negativity, failing a test, losing something/someone important and so on

                              2. @praxis Oh, interesting. I find them refreshing, since in a place completely under my will, I don't have to care for rules or laws. Being god of the plane, I can solve everything by talking or by slashing the problem with my sword.

                  2. @clarity No, I don't have the slightest idea. But is it wrong to want a full experience?

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:23:21 UTC from web
                    1. @nerthos Somewhat strange, but not exactly wrong. I prefer nice dreams, like the one where I folded wings out of paper and they actually made me fly.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:24:53 UTC from web
                      1. @clarity Yup, nice dreams are good, but they get boring after a while of only them.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:27:39 UTC from web
                        1. @nerthos There are also the downright strange dreams, where everyone in my school becomes invisible except me.

                          1. @clarity how do you know they are just not there?

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:30:11 UTC from web
                            1. @nlghtmaremoon Because they talked to me. And someone slapped me across the face, which was not very nice and I have a pretty good idea of who it was.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:32:30 UTC from web
                          2. @clarity I rarely dream about school related things. My dreams almost always end in conflict or bloodshed of some kind, or are completely unrelated from earthly issues.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:36:01 UTC from web
                            1. @nerthos My dreams tend to be based on what I've seen or heard or thought about that day, just twisted around in my mind a bit. I'm not exactly the most original person.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:37:45 UTC from web
                              1. @clarity Mine end up a bit like that too. Days with too much work make for really lousy dreams.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:44:22 UTC from web
                                      1. @clarity No... I don't work with lice (Thank Celestia). Usually when I work to much it's some blur involving computers.

                              2. @clarity Hmm... mine rarely have anything to do with the recent period of time. They're related to far past, future, or to neither of the three time spaces.

                                1. @nerthos Interesting...

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:40:53 UTC from web
                                  1. @clarity I like how dreams can be mostly disconected from the time "continuum" in wich we live. They can easily escape the "rails" in wich time ussualy transpires, and show pieces far in both ways, completely untied from our limitations. Being able to gain some more control of this would be really useful, since I'm just in the middle of the way; able to alter the scenario to will, but not to avoid it counciously, so also neglected by myself the gift of foretelling. Only short lapsus of other times I'm able to grasp and discern in my actual state.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:46:53 UTC from web

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:48:12 UTC from web
                                      1. @clarity Yeah, I know, I became entangled in all that mess of words. Every time I gain a decent level of control over a language it happens xD Maybe it is because of the limitations of these languages, or by my fondness to complex things?

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:49:42 UTC from web
                                        1. @nerthos I am quickly running out of things to say to you that won't sound stupid compared to what you're saying..

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:53:15 UTC from web
                                          1. @clarity Haha, don't worry... I'm pretty used to get excited over something and slowly insert phylosophy and stuff into it until I kill the conversation.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:56:26 UTC from web
                          3. @clarity I used to have the exact same dream happen to me almost every night when I was younger. I was in a room, imagining a couple lines. Then I would put a line across the others, halving the length of them. When I did this I would hear someone quietly complaining. Then I would giggle and put another line across, and would hear someone say something like: Hey! I would smile, then I would half it again. This time the person would be getting pretty angry, and complain loudly. It would repeat a couple of times until I was squished inside this imaginary box I put myself into and by the end, the voice yelling at me was swearing and yelling very loudly. Then I would remove all the lines which crossed the others, feel relieved, and then start all over. I literally had this dream almost every day for many, many years.

                            1. @renovatedkitchen I've never had the same dream twice... But that's interesting. Did you like to see how mad you could make people when you were little?

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:39:21 UTC from web
                              1. @clarity yes. Thats the feeling I got. I was trying to make them as mad, but when I was very cramped in this box I made, I would feel bad and stop. And the more I crossed those "lines" with other lines, the angrier the voice would become.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 06:41:49 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
                              2. @clarity I wouldn't try to make people mad. I was just always shy.
