@foxgopher The story of becoming a brony is as follows. It was about a year ago when an acquaintance of mine said he liked MLP after I told him I liked Hello Kitty. So I decided to go home and give it and a try, and WAH LAH, I was in love.

@foxgopher It's because I just couldn't get comfortable for the longest time so I got on my side and went to sleep. I'm just gonna try again tonight. I've only had one lucid dream before and that was a lucid dream induced by a Reality Check.

@shutterfly @deadhor5 @foxgopher though identyfying something as "off" or "weird " in a dream is difficult because the cognitive and critical thought driven sectors of our brains are inactive. so in the end it all just takes training.

@praxis As opposed to MILD (Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreaming) or LILD (Lucid-Induced Lucid Dreaming, where you naturally become lucid and then make efforts to maintain that lucid state).

@praxis That latter kind is the easiest when available, but obviously requires that you're already inclined toward becoming at least somewhat lucid.

@shutterfly @foxgopher I would suggest NOT doing that. You'll enter a sleep "paraliziz", where you're fully awake, but dreaming. Then time will NOT pass superfast as with normal sleep, and if you have a nightmare, it'll be more realistic, more horrifying, and hard to wake up from. (during the paralyzing, you cannot move!)
