@potatow Hey...Don't knock what I do. Being limited by money has its disadvantages. A Wacom tablet or touch-screen wouldn't pay itself off in commissions, so I don't have the time for it, overall. And besides...I would rather make things only when I feel a deep emotion about the subject ...whenever the muse demands that stuff get made.

@clayinthecarpet pixel and vector art are easier than hand drawn imo, but they can be very tedious especially when animating them. If you keep the vector art simple it's actually pretty fun and not too tedious though. http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/525509

@pony Cute!! Yeah, I'm just not into that type of thing. *sigh*.....See....*MY* deal is that I can't really produce anything for a production-related reason. I've tried SO many times and I just can't. If it's personal, though....I'll forgo living a normal life at times just to make sure it gets finished and finished correctly. It's hard to explain, kinda...I only make what I want to make, when I want to make it, and because of that, I can't really afford to have any interest in vectoring. I've already spent like $140 in Prismacolor pencils that I am not likely to make back because I'm not receiving any commissions yet. So blehhh to more spending.

@clayinthecarpet I felt the same way about things I wrote for a long time, but then I started writing a fan fic that meant a lot to me. Even though I get stuck every chapter and think to myself that I'm taking too long, I keep telling myself I'll get better and faster with time and I keep chugging on

@pony That's just the way to be, I guess. You have to do what the muse desires, when the muse desires it. I'm just not a businessman, in the sense that I can summon that talent and force it whenever it's needed. (That is not to say that I wouldn't do things for others...I am just very picky about the work I accept.)

@clayinthecarpet we don't have any favorites in common then, but I like to know in case I ever feel like making a request or offering a job for commission. I think the best work comes from favorites and favorite themes. Like, one of my favorite pairings (not shipping) is Pinkie and AB even though neither is a personal favorite.
