Hey, I don't wanna imply anything about you guys or anything, because *most* of you are not like this but how come a lot of PC gamers are elitist pricks?

@mrmattimation For the same reason most people dislike the trustfun hipster sitting in the back of Starbucks all day claiming there is nothing wrong with their Imac, but for some reason it only has a 20 minute battery life.

@critialcloudkicker I think it would be impressive to have ANY amount of battery life on your iMac, since it doesn't have a battery.

@mrmattimation "THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH ITTTT !" the trustfund hipster yells at you before storming out the store

@critialcloudkicker A) There IS nothing wrong with it. B) I think you're thinking of another computer.

@mrmattimation When you've spent twice as much as any console gamer on a system that A) doesn't work properly half the time and B) is treated as an afterthought by an increasingly large number of software houses, you've got to come up with SOMETHING to make yourself feel better

@ceruleanspark Is that how you see PC's ?
Thursday, 28-Nov-13 15:46:06 UTC from web-
@critialcloudkicker That's how I /experience/ PC's. There's only so many times you can come home to a high/top spec machine with a just launched title and find you need to screw about with your graphics driver before you can play before you realise the experience you're paying for only happens about 20% of the time.
Thursday, 28-Nov-13 15:48:38 UTC from web-
@ceruleanspark I run games without issues 90% of the time
Thursday, 28-Nov-13 15:52:30 UTC from web-
@nerthos You also don't tend to run anything at launch because you don't pay for videogames.

@ceruleanspark Wanna wager it takes less than 7 weeks before the XboX180 has a modchip that allows it to read burned CD's ?
Thursday, 28-Nov-13 15:55:41 UTC from web -
@ceruleanspark I pay for videogames some times! And I /do/ play stuff at launch since in the age we live in, stuff gets pirated in the day/a couple days earlier than the day of launch

@nerthos @ceruleanspark And when I do have trouble it's mostly with really old games that aren't designed for the current hardware architecture and OS
Thursday, 28-Nov-13 15:55:00 UTC from web-
@nerthos Like my Mechwarrior 3 in Windows 8.1 issue ( Also occurs in Windows 7 I just figured out )
Thursday, 28-Nov-13 15:56:29 UTC from web-
@critialcloudkicker Pretty much. I still have to set up one of my old computers to be able to extract the 1.2 patch for Diablo 1, which is completely incompatible with 64bit processors
Thursday, 28-Nov-13 15:58:04 UTC from web-
@nerthos Pretty sure we could just... ehmm... http://ur1.ca/5acap ... Unless that is somehow evil these days
Thursday, 28-Nov-13 16:00:27 UTC from web-
@critialcloudkicker It might be worth a try

@ceruleanspark For me it is about 15 ‰ ( that is 15 in 1000 times ) . Opposed to finding the correct disk to put in your Wii, and someone making a cd box maze again. Then finding out that the servers are down again so that you can not log into the Wii-space thus not invite your friends... Well... in my experience, they are really tied.

@critialcloudkicker Nintendo's online experience is not what most people would consider representative of "Good"
Thursday, 28-Nov-13 15:55:10 UTC from web-
@ceruleanspark [same line except the word "nintendo" has been replaced with "EA"] ... Still a tie :)
