@vt3c Just make sure you buy a laptop from a nearby store and you will be peachy :)

@vt3c Heard really good stuff about ASUS.

@vt3c Soo... Lets assess... You can buy your PC from a store down the road, and if somehting is broken you walk right back to that store and... something will happen... Or you can buy it from a store halfway across the globe because it will be cheaper and then find out there was something wrong with it... On this basis I just said what I said :)

@critialcloudkicker There's actually an Apple store not far from here. It's really nice to not have to mail things.

@vt3c ... An i5 based computer for 650 dollar ? ... ... I want to put together a desktop with the best availible i5 processor and I need o pay like 900 Euro ... Ugh >_<

@vt3c ... I guess that means you can buy very cheap labour and get better results than HP does

@vt3c Ahh... Well that is where the difference lies :) that is not a top of the line i5. But it is a really nice machine nontheless :) ( ... laptop I take it ? ) ... this gaming-rig I am planning to make ( and probably will make, as soon as I get the go signal ) will be top of the mid-range ( or bottom of the top-range ) gaming-PC ( desktop )

@vt3c I have a 1992 Compaq laptop which I tweaked quite a bit since the warranty was dead... The thing can play GTA:SA on native res, rather smooth

@vt3c I have 2 ... sort of... 1 of them is called ( ironically and humorisly ) "Derpy" because of... Well it kinda survived being electrocuted and stuff... E8400 Wolfdale and Radeon HD 3870 graphics... The thing can be pretty reliable on good days, and can be pretty nerve-wracking on bad days... Ever since I put in a more reliable PSU the good days seem to have increased though... The other one is called "Payne" and is just like what the name implies. Back when Derpy did boom and I was following a course or 5 ( and could not put Derpy together for whatever reason ) I needed a PC. I kinda build one around a AMD black box 955 and a ATI 6950 ... ( I had some cash to burn ) ... So... yea... By now I am spoiled... And once I have the money I should really buy an i5-4670 processor and R9 270 gaming rig once I find a game that I just "can't quite pull"

@vt3c Yea... PC's can be pretty weird sometimes... For instance I am kinda sitting next to a PC with a 8400 GS card, It should pull Borderlands 1 way better than just 15 FPS I think. But I do not how to "unlock" the potential of the card.

@vt3c Well, it used to be my grandmothers untill she got an i5 based computer. And the only reason she got an 8400 GS was because it was rather cheap and fast... She needed an immediate replacement for she blew up the graphics card she had before that one ( note that she got her PC just before the total-merger of MoBo onboard graphics sollutions )
