    Day 2 without running water, life is much more difficult. I hate living here.

      @scoot I used to get water pumped into a small tank reserve once a week in one of the places I lived, and the water heater was awful. I and my roommates would store water in 2 liter bottles and set several of them on the old heaters so we could kind of shower with warm water. We got an upgrade, but not before spending several months that way. Ah nostalgia.

      @oracle ;D I went more broke there than I've ever been since unless you take into account my consumer debt. Lots of hills and hiking though so I got in good shape despite the pollution. It was the only city in which I was ever a district leader, but ironically my companion was still senior and was the branch president (I took over primary for the one kid that was in the branch). It's also the only time I've had first hand experience with an excommunication. Once of the things that stood out to me about the city was the fountain in the middle of the town square and the gorgeous cemetery. I also came into contact for the first time with Italian cartoons there.
