  1. http://memegenerator.net/Purple-Tinker Oh yeah, this exists. I love seeing people's views on her.

    1. @abigpony Reading through them all now.

      1. @yodelerty @comradeconventrix I honestly can't stop laughing because there's just so many good, true ones.

        1. @abigpony Really? Which ones are true?

Wednesday, 16-May-12 16:11:22 UTC from web
          1. @purpletinker The ones about you being a self-entitled bigot who feels the need to constantly draw attention to themself. I know nothing about the pedophile ones and therefore didn't really laugh at them or anything. Things like using friendships you gain to your advantage and playing blame games and making a scene about everything are probably some of the most true ones in there. I don't really hate you per se, but I see you more as a person who does their job well enough but isn't a good people person. I respect you for your work and I believe deep down you're trying your best to think in everyone's well-being, but you've always been an extreme pain in the arse to my eyes. Pic related. It's my face every time I see something you post. http://ur1.ca/994m7

            1. @abigpony I'm sorry, I'm a bigot? Against whom am I bigoted?

              1. @purpletinker abigpony is just some troll we keep around for reasons I may never properly understand, don't let them get to you. *hugs* There's a few people like that here, I guess the mods just keep them around for entertainment or something.

                1. @toksyuryel It's more the fact they are borderline rulebreaking, they are pushing it but haven't done anything worthy.

                  1. @mrdragon I'd classify much of it as harassment, but I guess that's partly why I don't want to be a mod; I would ban *so many* people in the first ten minutes just for being complete ****s.

Thursday, 17-May-12 06:18:48 UTC from web
                2. @toksyuryel He's less troll than me.

                3. @toksyuryel I still have admin powers, but as I'm no longer in charge I would only ever use them to stop a spammer. But if trolls are tolerated here, perhaps I will not assist in upgrading the software later, as I had planned on doing.

Thursday, 17-May-12 06:17:00 UTC from web
                  1. @purpletinker Trolls are not tolerated here and you know that well Tinker, but I can't just ban someone on the assumption that they are a troll. If they show true disrespect then they will be warned about it, or in abigponies case rebanned and done with. As he no longer has chances. Send me that link again, I was busy earlier today, moving my house around in preparation for things and then had to take a nap afterwards. Things are hectic here of late.

                4. @toksyuryel Abigpony is most definetly not a troll, he just dislikes some users and has an unpolite and non diplomatic way to say things.

                5. @toksyuryel I heard my name... and I do not like the tone, mister. Am I not entitled to my views on others as you are me? If I do not respond to things like this, I appear to have no backbone to my views but if I respond I am being too strong and invasive in my opinions, no? I have a feeling this is leading to another banning for me. http://ur1.ca/997nb

            2. @abigpony I do not stop any pony from stating an opinion, but that passed the borders of disrespect as well. You can say what you need to to express your views, but they should not pass that disrespect border, she is still the admin of RDN as is Cabal. And that deserves a bit of gratitude and respect as a person and as a user. You may come back and say something about how you don't like how your views are being restricted, well we don't like our lives being disrespected either.

              1. @mrdragon I never said anything about responsiibility and if anything that would fall under the "I respect you for your work and I believe deep down you're trying your best to think in everyone's well-being" thing. I respect her for taking over the site and I thank her for that I guess. I can't say anything further because it'd probably result in a ban or something again. http://ur1.ca/997q2

                1. @abigpony You also called me a self-entitled bigot, and stated how much you enjoyed a collection of pictures that, among other things, accuses me of molesting little girls.

                  1. @purpletinker huh, guess I did. "I know nothing about the pedophile ones and therefore didn't really laugh at them or anything." http://ur1.ca/997sp

Thursday, 17-May-12 06:48:14 UTC from web
                    1. @abigpony That's a rather weak defence. And it still leaves you calling me a 'self-entitled bigot'. I dislike the religious right and those who wage war. If that makes me a 'bigot', then I will proudly don that mantle.

Thursday, 17-May-12 06:50:47 UTC from web
                2. @abigpony There is a limit, you can state your views with out insulting or putting down the other person. Instead of "your an extreme pain in the arse to my eyes" you could of worded it to say exactly what you needed without poking at the other person in that way. You've done it plenty times in the past and it's honestly a wonder why you don't stop being that way and actually peg someone down on things without needing to hurt them or to degrade them.

Thursday, 17-May-12 06:45:00 UTC from web
                  1. @mrdragon I could explain that, but it would be an unnecesary wall of text that probably nopony here would understand.

                  2. @mrdragon He doesn't stop because he knows exactly what he's doing and he knows it's working. I've seen it plenty of times before in countless other communities. People like this are the most toxic because they know how to stay just barely inside the rules while blatantly violating the spirit of them.

                  3. @mrdragon I generally don't like her and stated that it was a personal preference in that. If I left off at the positive part, it would look like I approved of her. How else could I have gone about the matter? http://ur1.ca/997tc

                    1. @abigpony And you are truly that incapable of learning yourself. You've been in this situation many a time, and have been banned several times for it. Don't give me that, you know how to go about it better, you just don't.

Thursday, 17-May-12 06:54:06 UTC from web
                      1. @mrdragon I... I honestly don't. I really do not see where I'm going wrong. It's not like people are pointing out what I've done every time, I just get banned and am left wondering for weeks where I went wrong.

Thursday, 17-May-12 07:02:44 UTC from web
                        1. @abigpony Alright, it's quite simple. Honestly. Treat people how you would like to be treated is the old saying, but you may need a tweak to that. Treat people with a basic respect as a human being. If they have something wrong, explain it to them, do not leave something just to a rumour or a lie, if it's not true you don't go about spreading it. If it's meant to be blunt and you know it's going to be a pain for them or cause them to fight back, it's most times best to bite your tongue and not say it. Think before you speak and before you act. Every person in this world is different. I can't tell you how everyone will react, but trying to press a truth that is a lie is not a good thing to go about doing. If you stepped back and looked at what you did around the times you kept getting banned you'd realise eventually what went wrong.

                          1. @mrdragon One time I got banned for saying someone was whining and the other time I got falsely accused of being anti-gay toward a member's adopted brother or something. The second was OBVIOUS favoritism and the first is still a mystery to me. I stated my points and thought about everything I said. I still don't see it. How would I go about "explaining" negatives to a person?

Thursday, 17-May-12 07:20:15 UTC from web
                            1. @abigpony The second instance, you were throwing the word "dole" around quite a bit. I suspect that didn't help.

                            2. @abigpony Assuming, that is, that the conversation I'm thinking of occured just before that ban, which certainly seems to be the case.

                    2. @abigpony There's a huge difference between expressing dislike for a person and actively insulting that person. And an especially huge difference between that and promoting baseless accusations about that person.

    8. @abigpony You used the word. You don't have a defense here. You could have left off the entire second half of the sentence, but you chose to include it and that's what the problem was. As I said before: there is a world of difference between expressing dislike for someone, and actively insulting them. Do not do the latter.

Thursday, 17-May-12 07:41:06 UTC from web
      1. @toksyuryel but how is that an insult. It's like calling someone a doo-doo head. You wouldn't be insulted enough to attempt to ban me for calling you a doo-doo head now, would you? it's not like I was insulting his homosexuality which is what they got me for.

Thursday, 17-May-12 07:43:09 UTC from web
        1. @abigpony Using that word is *automatically* an insult to a person's homosexuality.

    11. @abigpony You can mean the word in whatever sense you want, but if it's generally understood to have an anti-gay meaning (hint: it is), it's still gonna end up being taken that way, and thus is not a great word to use.
