What ship do you think is stupid or overused? Please remember that this one in particular is NOT 100% limited to background ships, though I would prefer if it was. P.S. Before you call a ship stupid, try and take it as a sarcastic ship and see if that works.

@ninjapon3 Derpy and Doctor Whooves. Purely because I hate Derpy and why did the fanbase start calling him Doctor Whooves?
-
@mrmattimation Because they're casual Doctor Who fans who watched /only/ Tennant and treat the show as a romance drama
-
@ninjapon3 Anything involving the Celestial-Sisters. (Including eachother)
-
@mrmattimation I can see why you hate Derpy, based on the show shes crap but I found her... Endearing like that one guy from Ed, Edd, And Eddy. (I think I spelled it wrong) Also, they started calling him Doctor Whooves based on his hair style similar to David Tennants, (sort of) his cutie mark is TIME, and there is a episode where he has a bowtie and he was wearing a pear hat.
-
@ceruleanspark 100% With you on that. I understand the concept of an old soul finding love, but its always stupid to me. They are too professional to make romance good. (Though it does keep the comedy fresh).
-
@ninjapon3 I think by their age they're probably tired of watching their lovers wither and die. I think Celestia probably pinned her hopes on Star Swirl inventing a new spell and ascending to alicornhood so they could be together, and when he failed, just gave up on romance altogether.
-
@ceruleanspark That makes sense. The only ship I could think that I would at all okay is Star Swirl and Celestia.
-
@ninjapon3 I think the issue with Celestia and Luna in shipping is that canonically all they seem to do is yell at Twilight
-
@ceruleanspark TwiLuna - TwiLestia - Lunestia OTP
-
@theyurityphoon dea god what the grapes.
-
@derpy128 Problem?
-
@theyurityphoon actually no suprisingly.
-
@theyurityphoon Wait...... Lunestia? One second... (Pukes up everything, including stuff already digested.)
-
@jakefromstatefarm Might want to go ahead and stay there If you're going to puke over such trivial things.
Luna. likes this. -
@theyurityphoon especially if your here.
-
@theyurityphoon That took me a second to get.
-
@theyurityphoon Pls leave both my fandoms you profligate
-
@ceruleanspark Nope. You're stuck with me.
-
@ceruleanspark And not yell for some reason, and make life hard for everyone.
-
@ceruleanspark Excuse me, but I have watched every episode of Doctor Who up to now, and not only that but there is solid evidence that it is David Tenant! In the last episode, he was walking with a pony whose cutie mark IS A ROSE and he was wearing 3-D SUNGLASSES! Plus, I find a lot of people have started with Matt Smith or Eccleston! A fairly small amount started with Tenant. I do sort of agree with you on the romance drama thing though. But that is more in Matt Smith's episodes than David Tenant's! Plus some of Matt Smith's romantic points ARE AFTER HE IS MARRIED.
-
@ninjapon3 If i comment my opinion will you criticize me for it? I think Dr. Whooves is used too much and to be honest I don't even know how he got that name. Ugh, I went to Hot Topic and the ONLY MLP merchandise they had there were Dr.Whooves. I seriously think they are ripping off David Tennant when they did the MLP rip-off.
-
@vinylslash When you say he is used too much, are you saying he shouldn't be Doctor Whooves or that he shouldn't be used as much as he is? Plus, how are they ripping off David Tennent? They aren't using his likeness.
-
@ninjapon3 I think he shouldn't be used as Doctor Whooves because they never really show him that much in any episodes and all I see in like Bronie stores are Doctor Whooves Apparel and its just a fan made thing. Sorry to bug the Whovian lovers but I think we should just stick to the "real" MLP characters.
-
@vinylslash Well what fun is there without speculation? Besides, we have very good evidence that strikes an undeniable resemblance to The Doctor.
