    1. @snowcone I assume he did it as vengeance and to cut off the posibility of her taking things like alimony from him.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:07:15 UTC from web
    2. @snowcone Plus a hostile action against you grants you the right of retaliation, whih he used.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:08:21 UTC from web
    3. @snowcone How is he worse than her by paying in kind?

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:09:11 UTC from web
      1. @nerthos Lying to the police is closer to the literal opposite of justice.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:09:58 UTC from web
        1. @mastertdi Literal opposite of LAW, which is a distinc thing than justice

          1. @nerthos Two wrongs make a right. Got'cha.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:12:53 UTC from web
            1. @mastertdi Two wrongs don't make a right, but you can reply to a wrong against you with another wrong.

    4. @nerthos Wow

    5. @snowcone She would have then delivered the kid and started a new campaign to ruin his life

    6. @snowcone He looked at it as a war and ensured there'd be no battles after that one. She started a conflict on the moral low ground and lost.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:20:27 UTC from web
    7. @snowcone I don't see how someone can be worse than the attacker by using all means neccesary to ensure a favorable ending to a conflict he didn't start and he was the victim of.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:24:18 UTC from web
    8. @snowcone If you know the one who punched you is out to get you and there's a big chance he'll get his friends and try again, then it's OK to put some lead in him.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:28:01 UTC from web
    9. @snowcone The method had to do with vengeance, which is not just by itself but it's neither unjust.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:30:40 UTC from web
    10. @snowcone You made that last part up, right?

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:32:36 UTC from web
    11. @snowcone Deary me.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:34:21 UTC from web
    12. @snowcone It would have been wrong if there was no definite good and bad side on the conflict, but since there was, it's OK. As I said before, an unjustified attack is a concession for retaliation, and you can't really complain about the strenght the attacked party decides to employ, as long as no third parties are harmed. Since only the attacker was harmed, there's no reason to deem the guy as unjust.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:35:33 UTC from web
    13. @snowcone Deary, deary me.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:36:20 UTC from web
    14. @snowcone I don't consider excessive force applies to the defender in an unjustified attack as long as no third parties are harmed. By attacking an "innocent" you give away your rights.

      1. @mastertdi tumblr is a cesspool of crazy

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:42:18 UTC from web
        1. @xeleanorxrigbyx Usually it's good-crazy though.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:42:45 UTC from web
          1. @mastertdi As in, "these people make me feel sane" crazy? Or some other sort?

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:43:16 UTC from web
            1. @xeleanorxrigbyx I didn't know half the things I did were common before joining Tumblr, so, I guess the first one?

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:45:07 UTC from web
              1. @mastertdi I'm talking mostly about the insane SJWs and all that sort of off the wall. I mostly see tumblr when it's screencapped, I don't know how to use that site to save my life.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:45:50 UTC from web
                1. @xeleanorxrigbyx Oh, well, yeah, that happens, but usually the responses to SJW posts cancel out the crazy

                  1. @mastertdi True. That sort of mindset just baffles me though. Like, how in the world do you even draw those conclusions!?

                    1. @xeleanorxrigbyx It's more hilarious than crazy. Comments about the doge meme being ableist and referring to animals by their sex being persecution are just laughable.

                      1. @mastertdi Some people just didn't get enough attention as children or something.

                2. @xeleanorxrigbyx The trick is to only subscribe to content blogs and animal pic blogs.

                  1. @nerthos I mostly go there for Flufflepuff.

                    1. @xeleanorxrigbyx Good woman.

    16. @snowcone Literal eye for eye leads to an endless cycle of vengeance. Retaliating with extreme force ends in a side obliterated and an definite end to the conflict.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:45:22 UTC from web
    17. @snowcone That's law, and law, whilst it should be a tool to make justice easier, is by no means the same thing as justice, in the same way a gun and a pair of handcuffs aren't the same as a ccop.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:46:32 UTC from web
    18. @snowcone That only works among people with a sense of honor, and people with honor don't do what the woman in the story did. Among people with honor conflicts can and are resolved in fair fight without lasting consequences, but sadly, a big portion of the population absolutely lacks that trait.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:49:21 UTC from web
    19. @snowcone But having law held higher than justice is basically blasphemy, as it destroys morality directly.

Wednesday, 26-Mar-14 19:51:52 UTC from web
    20. @snowcone That's what godfathers are for. When you settle an issue through violence it's smart to have a third party with the authority to put an end to things.
