@pony My attitude toward death has shifted pretty drastically. It never used to faze me, but now it makes me feel ill. The idea that someone can die and forever lose the chance of becoming a plushie is something that I just don't even want to think about.

@pony Mm, well there's certainly that too. Ponies are pretty much on my mind 24/7 these days. It's actually why I was initially afraid of getting into it in the first place, because I feared becoming this person. But now that I am this person, I am glad that I have because it really is the best thing to ever happen to me.

@toksyuryel The addicted part of me often wonders about what's out there and how it compares to stuff at my usual site of preference (lolibooru). Do you prefer anthro or canon?

@pony I can't be open about everything in every context, this is related to job possibilities. Just being open about my lack of religion closed the window of opportunity to work for the two bigest employers of Germany who kind of earn 70 percent of the job market :/

@pony I've always been turned off by anthros since long before FiM was even an idea. I don't think we should be having this discussion on this site though; indeed, I don't think *we* should be having this discussion at all- I wouldn't want to be responsible for steering you back towards your addiction.

@toksyuryel It's hard to describe what it's like as a recovering addict.. There's never any way to escape my triggers without being fully isolated because it's part of humanity and even life as a whole. Talking about it helps me blow off steam, though I can't be sure you're not right in assuming I shouldn't be doing it. If not here then I'm likely to go read ship-fics which may or may not be better.

@pony The problem with talking to me about it though is that I don't see it as anything wrong and in fact view it as a very healthy thing; I'm liable to encourage it fairly heavily. So you would be much better off avoiding the subject with me. And I think we'll all be better off avoiding the subject on this site.

@toksyuryel Alright. I appreciate your concern for me and your help reminding me to respect RDN rules. I'm usually pretty open about it here yet without getting into detail because I feel stifling it doesn't help. I do still need to work on treating it more carefully though
